On Nov 2, 2022 I hired “The A/C Guy ******* ****” to put in my Pioneer Mini Split heat pump by placing $400 deposit. ******* **** came out and got started installing the mini split right away. Around Nov 9th ******* **** was almost finished with the installing mini split beside a far minor items he left off or didn’t completely attach to the system. So, it was getting late and we decide he would come back at a later date to finish up those minor things. Everything was going well, So I thought and I decided to pay him the final payment $400, “which total $800” early because the unit was up and running. I contact ******* **** on Dec 7, 2022 because to coils on the inside wall unit was freezing up and “he responded that it may be a freon problem”. So, I reach back out to ******* **** on Dec 8, 2022 to see when he can come out to diagnose the problem, “did not get a response”. So, I text ******* **** on Dec 10, 2022 to call me and also, about some future business and finally response on Dec 13, 2022 and ******* **** “S****d that he didn’t have no more freon and he will come to check unit when the temperature 75 degrees outside”. After waiting months for Mr. **** to come out and diagnose my unit. So, I decide to contact another Hvac guy to come out and diagnose the unit in which he discovers where ******* **** cut the bolts and screws off of both copper line and solder them together in which that what cause the unit to leak out all the freon. He also discovers where Mr. **** Kinks the copper line in several different places in which will need to be repaired. 4*** ****** ** ******* ***** ** ***** ********************* ************************** ******************************* ********************************************************* ********************************************************** ************ ************

At the time of the install, the customer was provided with a 90 day labor warranty only since he had the equipment sitting in a automotive mechanic shop for 2 years before the installation. I did return on 12/09/2022 once the ambient temperature was over 75 degrees fahrenheit to add more refrigerant. Copper lines are solder on mini splits due to the notorious leaks that happens at the threads which does not violate manufacturer warranty. Customer failed to reach back out to me to troubleshoot any other issues. with the system as he was asked to contact his installer. Customer stated that he has a lot of cats, dogs, possums, and raccoons under his mother home and asked that I secure the line set to the bottom of the home, the lines where strapped to the bottom of the home to prevent any animals from causing damage to the line set. Upon completion of the line set securing the customer walked around and pull on the lines to make sure i had them secure to his liking and the customer stated he was satisfied after there was no slack in the lines . Any damage to the lineset for as kinks was caused by the customer tugging on the line sets very hard. The customer has also been at his place on employment slandering my business to several coworkers that was relayed back to the owner of the business. The customer has did several other business the same attempt as he is trying now with work performed on his mother home. If customer wouldve had reached out, the issue he caused from the tug would've been fixed. We are way pass the 90 day labor warranty for a refund.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: The A/C Guy ******* **** never return to property to diagnose A/C unit. I have witnesses. I only found out about kinks and leak after I had another Hvac guy come out to diagnose my problem and he found those issues. All the freon leaks out where you solder the line together. Which come from the manufacturer to be bolted together. It's nothing wrong with the equipment. You just did a bad soldering job and wasn't willing to come back out and repair it. You did not make any attempts to come out and see what the problem was. Most businesses that care about their customers normally will come back out the next day or in a couple days after a problem. You never did! Sharing my experience on Yelp is not slanger. Basically, your whole reply statement is lie because, we never spoken about any those things in your statement and I haven't saw you since you got paid.

      Sincerely,

      **** ********
