      I tried to send a certified demand letter but it was not accepted. 1)On November 7, 2022, I contacted **** Yates of Yates Appliance, to repair my refrigerator and washing machine. He advised he would need money up front to cover the costs of the parts.2)I paid him on November 7, 2022, with check number **** in the amount of $460.00 to cover those costs. He cashed the check that same day at ***************************** National Bank.3)In the twelve (12) months following, I called him multiple times to inquire about the repairs and the status of the ordered parts. He advised me each time that the parts were on back order but due in by Friday. Friday never came and my appliances were never repaired. 4)As a result of his failure to perform the repairs, I was forced to hire another company to repair my refrigerator and washing machine. They received the parts within ten (10) days and repaired the appliances.One year has passed since I first contacted and paid Mr. *********************** He never performed the repairs that he agreed to make, despite the fact that I paid you in full for the cost of the parts. He has ignored my calls and letters for months.

      Contracted with Yates mid-Feb22 to repair dishwasher. He came to home and diagnosed the problem as a bad motor. Charged $300 - 60 for original call, 180 for part, and 60 for return call to install part. It's mid-Apr and dishwasher still isn't fixed, plus he diagnosed wrong problem. I asked for my money back at end of March. He agreed to return it and named a date to make return. However, he never showed. He didn't called when he agreed to, and he always had some excuse to not fulfill his promises.I have text messages, but don't know how to upload them to you.
