He did not finish the job that was there. Now after 6 months of a new roof its leaking and he should come out with the warranty that is 10 years on his workmans ship. He has not come by. Even though called and sent letters to. He is not honoring his warranty or fix the few mistakes that where made.Business response

Hi,
This job was completed and inspected by the ************************ This customer did have a few concerns and questions after the job was completed. I went back personally and spoke with her and even walked the roof with her as she pointed out what she thought to be wrong. I went back two days later and corrected the issues that she had concerns with. This customers Father was replacing fascia board on the. Ack side of the house which I gladly helped him with at no charge. I even went and bought more drip edge for him at my expense to match the drip edge we had installed so he would have it after he painted the new fascia board. After helping him install the fascia board, I offered to come back and put the drip edge up for him at no charge but he declined and told me he could take care of it. This is the only thing I can think about that the customer is saying I did not finish which wasnt on the contract or my responsibility. I thoroughly enjoyed working for this customer and especially the time I had to talk with her Father. Super nice people and were easy to deal with. They were VERY happy with the job from my understanding. I will be reaching out to them and see exactly what the misunderstanding is and what I can do to satisfy it.

Due to hurricane ***, our roof needed replacement. We called Brad's roofing, having done business with them in the past. We learned that the original owner retired and his son took over the business. We had them replace our roof on our home and shop. We paid Brad's roofing two checks, one to pay for roofing supplies and the second upon completion of the new roofs, completed in October 2021. On January 6th, ******************************************************* ***********, **, that a lein will be filed on our home because Brad's Roofing did not pay for the roofing supplies to a total of ********. We have not been able to contact *************************, the owner of Brad's roofing and have since received a letter from a lawyers office representing Advance Products for collection of owed money and the lein on our home. We would like the lein removed from our home since we had nothing to do with the purchase of the supplies Brad's Roofing bought from Advanced Products.Business response

Response to customer regarding payment of materials:
I started this business and have always been the only 100% owner of this company. This is the first I am hearing of this outstanding balance on materials though.When I did this job I did try to get the materials on my account at Advanced Products in ***********,**. because the color and brand wasnt available in the *********, **. branch. I placed the order online in the portal and it said they had the materials available in *********** so I rented a trailer and drove to *********** to pick the materials up and put them on my account. When I arrived, they wouldnt release the materials to me on my credit account because they said my credit line wasnt high enough with what I had out already so they didnt give me the materials. I stayed in their parking lot literally all day for eight hours trying to call customer service and waiting on a reply from email also because I wrote the **** They finally called me back and said if I paid $680.00 from a recent job that they would let me take the materials so I paid that and went inside the store and they still would not allow me to because they said it would take 3-5 days for my payment to reflect on my account. I never put these on my credit account through Advanced nor do I owe them money for this order. Did they send any document showing I signed for this order on my account? They couldnt have because I didnt sign for it and they arent going to just release that amount of materials without credit, a signature, or payment up front. I believe they probably got confused because I had made an order through their portal and when I went to checkout online it might have tried to add it to my account but when I went to pick it up they realized in person that my credit line wasnt high enough but it stayed in my orders. I will try to go back in the portal and print out a copy for you. I apologize about all this confusion.
