Contacted Elite Home Improvement and Handyman service on messenger on May 5, 2022. Came out on May 10, 2022 to check out projects we had. 1. Demo and build 8'x20' cover porch 2. Wooden fence about 368' 3. Extend slab to move storage building 5' forward. Received bids for projects on 5/14/22. After looking over bids we had a few questions about porch, fence, and slab. After questions we ask jasn about when he could start, said about 3 weeks. So we said ok because he could do all 3 projects. he said he needed $11,000 for materials for porch and fence. Check was written 5/19/22 check#*** tect ***** on 5/31/22 to check to see when he could start he said it would be about a week and a half. On 6/8/22 text ***** to see when he could start. He said about middle of next week. On 6/15/55 text to see when he could start, said it would be 6/17/22 Friday. text him on 6/16/22 to see if he was starting Friday 6/17/22 said he was short handed. It would not be until Monday 6/20/22. text him on 6/19/22 to see if they where still to start on Monday 6/20/22, then text around 1:00pm said he did not have any guy's to start job. So on 6/20/22 told him if he did not have any guys to do the deck to give my money back. He then showed up late Monday to demo the porch himself. On 6/23/22 still did not have anyone to start the porch. They did not start until Monday 6/27/22. The crew worked 6/28/22-6/29/22. When finished wrote a check for $5000 ck#*** for the porch project. We went out of town for a week. We returned 7/8/22 text to see when they would start the wooden fence project. He said by wednesday 7/13/22 or thursday 7/14/22. He came by Thursday 7/14/22 said he could start monday 7/18/22. Tex Monday then said it would be Tuesday 7/19/22. Text him Tuesday around 7:10am to see if they were coming, said in a few hours. So I text him around 12:30 pm told him he did not have the time to put up my fence to refund my money for the materials for the fence $6750.00 said he" was on his way but you know what i think i'm just going to do that. I'm doing the best i can but very hard to work with people have no patience. Everybody wants their work done and they want it done now and i just can't keep everybody happy so ill just refund your money , find somebody else. I got material i have to go return so its gonna take me a few days to get your money." Text him on Friday 7/22/22 said he would have the money middle of next week. Text him on 7/27/22 said my check would be ready Friday 7/29/22. Text on friday said still waiting on refund from materials. He did come by and drop of $1000 cash in my mailbox. Said the rest would be ready Monday 8/1/22 or Tuesday 8/2/22. Sent text Wednesday 8/3/22 and he said maybe tomorrow 8/4/22. Text on 8/4/22 said he was out of town and was in no rush to return my deposit money. Because of his start time for the fence and said the total amount due was $2500. The total deposit was 6750 he returned cash 1000 still owes me $5750 to this day
