Dec 19, 2022 Better Business Bureau I need your help. March 2, 2022 I bought a Forno gas stove from Vacherie Mart in Vacherie LA. In the sales office I asked for an extended warranty because I always buy a warranty for everything I buy. They told me, “ Oh Ma’am you will not need a warranty.” So I bought it for $3238.*5. It was delivered and installed. The stove immediately had a defect. If a tiny flame was needed, the safety feature “tick-tick-ticked” and prevented the small flame from being used. In the attempts made to alleviate the problem , they raised the volume of the flame so that it was NEVER going to be on “SIMMER” which gets rid of the ticking but I can’t cook a pot of rice. 1. The store, sent an appliance service , Apollo, whose technician worked meticulously and the problem remained. 2. This technician returned to my house and attempted to solve the problem. 3., Same tech, attempted again, name is available *. November, 2022, ********* **, was called. Tech’s name is available Now Forno has sent me a tool and a U tube video to fix it myself. At this point I want a total refund and for Vacherie Mart to remove the stove from the premises. I talked to the manufacturer in Canada and they told me they dont do refunds. They told me to call Vacherie Mart., who already claimed they will help but then they dont. Vacherie Mart had told me after they sent the Apollo service first time that it was not in their hands anymore. Now they tell me they didnt know . I called for service, service came: stove is Still ticking . In Forno’s first email to me I sent the phone number 985**6865* which ALWAYS gets answered at my house. Our vendor authorized the return and refund of the stove. We were going to pick it up today, but the customer asked that we allow them to use it through the holiday and we agreed. We will pick the stove up after the holidays.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 18611554, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. We were able to replace the stove today after all and Vacherie Mart DID come give a full refund and DID remove the stove . I am totally satisfied with resolution. Thank you
