    On 10/7/2021, I booked a hotel room through Hotels.com for 1 night stay at Best Western Regency Park-Walker for check-in date of 10/15/2021., with Pay at Hotel option. I arrived at the hotel on 10/15/2021 around 4 pm only to be told by the hotel front clerk that there was no hotel room reservation in my name, it had never been confirmed, & they were completely booked & could not offer me a room. The hotel clerk assured me that I would not be billed since they did not have a room for me. I left the premises and was able to secure another hotel room at La Quinta in Port Allen, LA. Upon checking my credit card statement, I noticed that I was billed by Best Western for $225.77 for a room that was not available to me. I disputed this charge with Capital One, my credit card company, & explained the circumstances. They temporarily reversed the charge while the matter was under dispute. I later received a letter from Capital One stating that the merchant had challenged the dispute, stating that I was a no show. My credit card company reinstated the $225.77 charge to my account. After this, I called and spoke with the BW owner, Mr. ***** on 11/28/2021 explaining the circumstances that led to this dispute. I suggested to him that he could review his video camera footage for my arrival (I gave a quick physical description of myself) and to substantiate my claim that I did show up and was denied a room and left the premises. Mr. ***** verbally declined to review the camera footage for that date and time but asked me to give him 24 hours to research the billing & he would call me back with an answer. On 11/30/2021, I received a call back from Mr. ***** & he agreed to refund my money but asked that I go back thru my credit card dispute process to obtain it. He said once he received the paperwork that he would not challenge it the second time, & my money would be refunded. My credit card company won't allow me to file a 2nd dispute. I would like a refund for $225.77.

    Me ********* ******* and my sister had the most worst stay in all of the hotels we've had ever been in and it happen in ignorant walker,La.The Best Western plus.We warn everyone do not please do not come here at all period thank you.And have a blessed@ glorious day.
