I purchased Tires on a 6 month same as cash plan. It was all to be paid on an auto draft from my bank account. At one point they didn’t take any money at all then started taking less than needed to meet the 6 month plan. When I finally caught it they kept making excuses on what was going on. Finally someone figured out the issue but was not willing to work with me on the fees from their mistakes. Then only gave me one week to pay the balance.Business response

We value all customer's feedback and use these as an opportunity to improve. All customers sign a contract detailing payment options. Though we do auto draft customers accounts, ultimately it is the customers responsibility to maintain payments on their account. Should one of our representatives not take enough or even forget to draft a payment, we can easily correct any such error by receiving a phone call from the customer to remind us to draft what is needed to correct the error. Our General Managers are good at working through these situations should one come up. Please feel free to give him at call. In this case, at least one transaction was declined. According to Podium and phone records, our representatives have attempted to resolve any late payment issues as they come up. Sometimes contact could not be made with the customer, however.

On May 30, 2023 went up there to get a set of tires and rims because they were having a special for five dollars in my car needed it. I told him I wanted biweekly payments and then the contract they put me down for weekly on top of that I was supposed to be getting two used tires and two new tires put on and they put all four used tires and expect me to pay $888 for these used tires and I don’t think I should considering that lied to me and that’s is way to high for used tires and i priced new lunch would’ve been about $500! They’re harassing me about a payment that is due to weekly when I asked for biweekly on top of the Manager has hung up in my face they have picked on me told me I need to pay my bills I didn’t even have his room the whole month yet I got him literally the 30th of May the people are jokes like really. My whole contract that I signed the day that I had to be at work is wrong and then when I tell them about it they said where I signed it so I have to obey it they disabled my payments online when I try to pay a partial payment they want to take it. They already have somebody out to try to take my tires and put my car on blocks when I haven’t even had them for four months I’m just asking for some help because this isn’t right this isn’t how you treat customers at all I work in customer service been doing it for 17 years no matter how mad at customers to make me I can keep my cool and resolve their issues and that’s how you should be the manager of the company his name is **** he is very very rude he has put me down on by the way I am a domestic abuse victim so this really is hindering me as a person right now considering what I’ve been through in the past it’s all good with you please help me get this settled and straight I want to see my contract fixed and I would like to also if I had to pay that $888 for my tires that’s not including rent price that’s just my tires I’ve want four new tires on top of I need the tire sensors put in my tires because my tire pressure light is still on in my car if I give you a set of tires and it has the tire sensor you put it in the new tire end of storBusiness response

This customer took advantage of a $5 delivers special that we were running. Her first due date was 3 June, which even shows this on the contract that she provided. She did not attempt to make full payments in order to keep the product. This is a lease to own transaction. The customer has to pay ahead in order to keep the merchandise. This particular customer did not do that. Additionally, the customer did not make any payments since retaining the product. Our company repossessed our merchandise due to nonpayment. At this point, our company considers this a closed matter.Initial Complaint

Last year I'm not sure of the exact date at the moment we went through R and R tire express in West monroe la to get tires. We paid for them in 12 months same as cash. In the paperwork it states we get free alignments and rotation life of the tires. Since getting these tires we have received 3 balance and alignments. After each alignment our steering wheel has been off place and we've called them trying to resolve the issue and they've told us to schedule another alignment after this happening a second time we brought it to their attention again. I've sent them an email on June 10th 2023 with no answer. And today June 12th 2023 I had another scheduled rotation because my tires are now wearing down in the front after just receiving an alignment and rotation in February. I told them again of my issues they said their doing there job correctly and the only resolution is to buy new tires. I asked for paperwork showing their work done on the tires and was told they don't have it they only keep it for 30 days. These tires were over 2,000 and now my front tread is almost gone because of their faulty work that they refuse to fix after multiple complaints.Business response

We have received and looked into this complaint. Our Regional Manager had a meeting with the customer and his spouse. The customer walked out of the meeting at some point. The wife stayed and listened to our explanation of events. We provided documentation to the customer showing the read outs of the alignments. The read outs show that the alignments were within specs when the customer left the store. One of the shop tickets, it is documented that the customer needed to get some front end work on his vehicle, which the customer signed in acknowledgement. The customer claims that the steering wheel is crooked, which we could not verify that to be true. Generally speaking, just because the steering wheel is not straight, does not cause wear on the tires. The tires usually wear unevenly because of the alignment of the vehicle, or front end parts are worn and will not hold an alignment. The relationship with the steering wheel to the alignment does not determine wear patterns on the tires. Obviously, the steering wheel should be straight with any proper alignment, however.
The customer is asking for 4 new tires. After reviewing the documentation, there is nothing that supports a resolution of that variety. In fact, it appears we did everything proper on our end to perform the work, advise the customer of that we noticed a potential issue, and used valuable shop time to readdress the concerns of the customer on a number of occasions. Unless future documentation becomes available needing further assessment, we consider this matter closed at this time.

I am rejecting this response because: Upon the meeting with **** he would not hear our complaints and tried to put the blame on us. The front end was completely redone the day of us bringing the truck to R and R for an alignment and we have proper paperwork from the autobody shop that It was taken to. They said since we have brought the truck in such a short period of time for alignments that we needed front end work which we in turn told them that the front in had been completely redone. **** was talking to spouse in a very demeaning tone and refused to acknowledge they're fault or listen to how their accusations aren't correct. He then refused to give us copys of our paperwork saying he isn't allowed to when the other store said we could get copies but they don't keep them past 30 days.
