Had VYVE Internet for almost two years. Not much choice of services in **** *****. Service was OK when avaialble but impossible to get ahold of someone when there was problems. Second issue is they charge you another $14-15 a month for their wonderful internet box. Went to Best Buy to buy another to avoid these charges. Spent two hours on the phone with someone who clearly doesn't understand English well trying to make it work and finally gave it up. Took the VYVE internet box back to the office in ******** and signed my cancellation. After two months waiting on the refund for being charged for the entire month, I called the office. Sorry, no refund for partial months (almost 25 days). Keeping your money. They of course were "surprised" to hear how noone told you any of this, but its in the fine print sucker. gave them one star only because we are not allowed to use zero.Review from Doug T

Like anything, the service Vyve provides has positive and negative aspects.
On a positive side, the phone customer service is excellent. The people that answer the calls are helpful and informed.
On the negative side, you cannot count on their internet service working, specifically if you work from home and rely on it. Unplanned outages are something that happen to all networks, but Vyve seems to purposely cause planned outages in the middle of the day without any consideration of the impact this has to their customers. A splice trailer has been parked down the street from my house for weeks now, and I have learned that when I see people inside the trailer, I can plan on my service dropping. In the telecom industry, it is standard practice for this type of service impacting work to be done during the night when customer are not typically using their service. I am not sure if the Vyve team in Torrington is doing this on a rogue basis, but the customer service center sure does not seem to be in sync with what is happening out in the field. BUYER BEWARE OF SUBSCRIBING TO VYVE IF YOU WORK FROM HOME AND RELY ON HAVING DEPENDABLE INTERNET SERVICE TO DO YOUR JOB.
