Endured 5 days of frigid misery due to Pann HS's negligence. What began as a $69 service call snowballed into a $5686 extortion. False promises, exorbitant fees, 24/7 service failure. No heat, no accountability. Avoid ************* at all costs.1/13 lost heat in our ****************. ************* could dispatch a plumber to figure out what the problem was for $69. An hour later, the plumber requested additional $735 "diagnostic fee" and 20min later received the total of $1669 for the fix. The heat back on now. 1/14 Right after midnight tenants called us --no heat. Text Pann, no response. By midday got though, another quote of $3969 to fix it, requiring a part, but would need to call the office, were told now $4563, but with monthly subscription of $19.99 for "immediate and priority service" would honor the original price. Required signed .pdf, that took another hour, as there was no electronic signature available.2.5 hours later got .pdf, the part would be ordered and available the next day.1/15 4 pm were told that the part was never ordered, but will be now.3rd day no heat mid January! 1/17 No heat. Deep freeze outside. No updates. We again called were told there was no parts, wait until tomorrow, the promised industrial heaters never materialized. Escalated to ***, the part was found (!) and a technician scheduled at the house 1:30 pm. 4:15 pm the tenants called in panic, as no one showed up in the cold house after all day waiting for the plumber. At 4:30 all calls went straight to voicemail, no "emergency 23/7 service we were charged additional $19/m. Desperate we emailed the owner, which resulted in everything being fixed 1/18.Total bill for two replacement kits-- gas valve and inducer was $5686. ******* Alpine Replacement Igniter Kit is $35 wholesale; gas and valve inducer one is under $100. Even if we triple this and include labor (30 min in one invoice and possibly 1.5 hours at most in second),$5686 is a robbery.
