************* Purchased a 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe on 4/25/2023.  He put $10,000 down as a down payment and financed the balance with ***** Fargo.  He signed all his legal binding contracts on 4/25 while purchasing the vehicle, Including his bank contract with ***** fargo which clearly states there is no cooling off period, and you can not change your mind once the contract is signed.  ************** called 4 days later on 4/25/2023 and said that he had changed his mind. We had let him no if he had let ** know that day or even the next day we would have tried to help him out.  He waited too long and ***** fargo had already cashed the contract he had signed 4 days earlier .We explained to him that he owns the vehicle and to read over his legal documents so he can understand that.  Once again ************* is welcomed to call me to Discuss, which he has not as of this point

I brought my 2012 van to the business' auto body shop to have the front bumper cover replaced and a MA inspection performed. When I returned to pick up the vehicle I noticed that a "silver" plastic molding on the grill had been broken off. I pointed it out to the employees and they said it must have been like that when I brought it in. I stated it was not broken when I brought it in, and it most certainly wasn't broken. The business refused to take any responsibility for breaking the molding.

February 18 2022. I bought a 2018 ****** Corolla and left excited or so I thought. 1st issue: I shouldve known something was wrong when my title wasnt ready for 2 weeks since the car was just traded in. (I was in dire need of transportation for my job). 2nd issue: I got a notification after having the car for only 2 weeks and received SAFETY RECALLS. Just for Colonial Chevrolet to brush it off and tell me to contact the ****** Dealership in *********, **.3rd issue: Then less than a week before the 45 days, I get random beeping from my sensor in the backseat even though nothing is back there. 4th issue: Lastly, my car is shaking after long drives from Acton to ******, **. I cried to *** and ****, *** who sold me the car offered me nothing but an apology. Mikes attitude was completely different from when I bought the car vs. when I had concerns. Which I mentioned to him as well. I was told the shaking is from my winter tires. Ok. But anything else, they cant give me an answer. I asked **** directly if they were aware they were selling me a car that *** be unsafe, I got ignored. Ive been in accidents and suffer anxiety due to them so now I am constantly scared to drive the car because I dont know what to expect. I explained this to **** who just said okay. Didnt offer any remedy to even exchange the vehicle or something!!

      Hi Tichina

My Name is *************************, I am the General manager here at Colonial Chevrolet.  I am sorry you are not happy with the vehicle you purchased.   I did just check with the service department and they assured me that they did inspect your vehicle when you came back for the vibration and the beeping noise you heard.  Although they could not duplicate the beeping noise, they were able to diagnose the vibration as the tread from the winter tires on the vehicle. The winter tires have a thicker tread and are susceptible to road noise and vibration on dry roads.  They did also state that everything underneath the vehicle is tight and in good working condition such as ball joints, struts. links etc that would normally be the cause of a vibration, and that the vehicle is safe according to ************* inspection policies.  I would be happy to take another look at the vehicle for you or try to trade you out of the vehicle if you are unhappy with it.  We certainly want you to be happy with your purchase.  Please Call me directly at  ************ to discuss.

I leased a ***** Bolt in September 2019 and in December of 2020 I was told that there is a risk of the battery catching on fire. After many attempts to bring the car in to be serviced, I gave up and found another car. I have asked ***** to take my car back and they continue to jerk me around about it. I have gone through all the proper steps to have the vehicle repurchased and I am told that people are working on it, but they don't answer my calls. I am frequently told that I will get a call back within a certain window, and the call never comes. Colonial Chevrolet is not standing my be in this process and I feel mistreated as a loyal ***** customer.

Hi ******* , I certainly understand your frustration with the process. We have seen many of the Bolt buy backs in the last several months.  The Chevrolet Bolt buy back process is done through the manufacturer ( *************** and not done through the Dealer (Colonial).  Unfortunately the manufacturer does not allow the dealer to get involved in the process which does not allow us a way to speed it up for you.  From what other customers have told me that have had successful buybacks with GM, It is a long process and they made several calls to the manufacturer to get it done.  I am not sure if you are aware *******, but there is a fix available now for the battery ( it's a full replacement). I ran your Vin number and yours is eligible for the repair.  I know many customers in the buy back process have done the repair instead so they can keep their Bolt.  You would just need to call the service department and arrange for the battery replacement.  We would be happy to assist you with that.  Please feel free to give me a call at the store if I can assist you.
