This is my second complaint I have filed against Alternative Motors when I bought my car in August it had some issues with it that the owner agreed to fix which is why I purchased the car. Then I try to schedule the appointment to get these things fixed and he books me out past my warranty date so that I cant get them done on my warranty. My brakes and rotors tells me I owe him $100 because I don't have $100 he wont talk to me wont work with me. Won't do anything. I have had nothing but problems with this car since I got it it has been in the shop since February 22 I want Alternative to fix my car. I have a $10,000 loan on this vehicle and I cant even drive it.

I apologize I'm just getting to this complaint I have been out of the office for some time now. I just wanted to start off this is the first time seeing a complaint somewhere about this vehicle. Last time you had work done was on Nov 30, 2023 you came here to have a brake caliper, pads and rotors, and hood latch repaired. Which was all done. When we contacted the warranty company they said that the warranty that you purchase (through ****** ********** and ***** - a warranty that can be used at any local garage not just in our shop) on July 22, 2023 for 12months or 12,000 miles had expired because the day your car was here on Nov 30, 2023 your current miles were 137,594. (Purchase miles was 123,975 miles making it 13,619m so it was over the 12,000m). So when the warranty said they were not going to cover it. Paul then felt bad and said he was cover what the warranty should have covered this time but he would appreciate if you still paid your $100.00 deductible that was required no matter what. Which you did not pay at that time. Nor attempt to pay at anytime. Then you again reach out on Feb 2, 2024 because something was going on with your car. Paul said your warranty was up and you still owed us $100.00. He would have done the work but you would have had to pay for it for the car left the shop. You said you didn't have money. He said he couldn't do the work for free. And that's how it was left. Never said we wouldn't do that work just not for free. Unfortunately the car was driven out of it warranty miles and that's out of our control.

In response to Alternative Motors first thing is first when I purchased the car there was a bunch of lights on and was agreed with Alternative Motors that they would fix that problem after I purchased the vehicle. Those problems never got fixed. They told me I had new brakes and rotors yet it definitely did not which is why the brakes and rotors had to be done. It would've been covered under my warranty regardless of the miles didn't schedule me an appointment out for a month and then change it  also, the hundred dollars wasn't paid because I was bided on the phone and called a bunch of names by the owner Paul, which is completely unprofessional and inappropriate. The hood latch was not fixed. It was rigged with the cord hanging out the front by the grill so that I could pull it to open the hood.  Also, I have had nothing but problems with this car since I purchased it told things were in great condition and it was a reliable vehicle and it has been anything that none of the things that they agreed to do have been fixed to this day

Bought a vehicle on Jan 10th for 7995. Only had it for 2 weeks driving the 2weeks before was the dealership putting new tires and fenders on so my 30days is over on the warranty. The check engine light came on it’s misfiring on cylinder 6 and the oil pressure sensor is gone so driving back and forth to work is nearly impossible. I have to pay to have it fixed

I was unaware there was a problem with this car. ******* last spoke to me on 01/30/2023 at 620pm I have text messages to show. She still owed us a down payment of $1000.00 never once said anything was wrong with her vehicle. Just told me it was hard to get to me because she worked long hours and had to get home to car for her dogs. We have a 60 day warranty which is first 30 days everything is include or 1250 miles and the second 30 days we cover the labor the customer covers the parts or 2500 miles. If she went over those miles then she would  be out of warranty. But I was not told once about there being a problem. So I can't fix something if she doesn't respond. I tried her again 02/02/2023 and then again yesterday 02/13/2023 about her down payment. No response or complaint about the car. Until today. She has gotten cars here before I was told with no issues. So not sure why she wouldn't have called me. She has my personal cell number.

So you keep adding and making more things up I see. That was not in the original claim. When did this all happen? And receipts of work being actually done? I know you just don't want to pay your down payment. Should have known when you missed your first payment arrangement. And that's not why you are dodging my phone call. Even if that really did happen with Paul you know I was calling from my cellphone and I would have helped you. If I have to take it to small claims court I will. Again it would have been all fixed for free because your 30 days ended on Jan 13th. Even today I would have put the parts in for free you would have had to pay for the parts. But you chose to NOT come to me and pay out of pocket. I didn't tell you to do that.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
The business is making things up and making accusations which is not exactly professional. Especially for a place such as yours
      Sincerely,
