My wife and I hired Jaragua Contractors for our basement remodel. The contract included an **** week timeline and a flat rate. Neither were held to by Jaragua. ******* and his crew spent 6 months on this yet to be completed project and tried to bill us additional costs to cover his mistakes. ******* is not licensed as a Home Improvement Contractor or a Construction Supervisor in the *****************************. His contracts do not contain the information by the MA Attorney General. Here are some of the highlights of our time with *******:1) Adelsons guys put a wall in the wrong place on the first day, after ******* and I had marked the correct spot on the floor, and then ******* tied to convince me it was better. 2) ******* left us without a washer dryer for 3 months, repeatedly missed deadlines for bringing it back with no explanation, and repeatedly dismissed the idea that this was a problem. 3) ******* gave us less than 24 hours notice that we needed to sleep out of the house after spray foam was installed. He only told us after the town inspector made a point of talking about it in front of him. 4) ******* decided on his own to repair and salvage rather than replace our existing staircase even though he was contracted to fully replace it. This cut his costs but not ours, and left us with a poor quality staircase. 5) ******* didnt seem to be aware of basic code requirements for remodeling, including smoke detector and plumbing vent requirements. 6) ******* wasnt able to communicate in a timely manner with his subcontractors, resulting in numerous delays and re-dos.7) After 4 months on the job ******* told us we couldnt have the shower trim wed bought, because hed installed a different valve behind the tile without consulting us. This list could go on endlessly. ******* and his crew required constant supervision to catch their shortcuts and mistakes. He seemed more interested in cosmetics than quality or durability.

athan, A six months of work? you're a liar. We didn't work on Thanksgiving, you traveled, soon after you had to travel for private family reasons, and we didn't work at the end of the year when you were traveling too. If I were you, I would be ashamed of myself. You are a completely sick and clueless person. How can a contractor  pull a permit [it's nailed to your door] for a work without a license, after 2 months because I confronted you, you asked me for my license and I didn't give it to you. I've never seen so much humiliation with immigrant workers inside your house that you did. This is what I witness, several times I held my collaborators just to finish their project, apart from what they told me when I arrived. How cruel it is for you to abuse someone who is doing work with dignity in your home. You humiliated us, you massacred us, you stepped on everyone, you made fun of us, several times I wanted to abandon your project but with respect for your wife I continued until the end. For my character. You don't have one character, you abused and slammed the door in my employee's face, this is recorded. the other electrician of mine a gentleman of almost 60 years and more than 40 years of profession you mocked and humiliated him. Another one you were filming remember? This has never happened in my life and in my business. I had to demand your wife's presence when I went to talk to you. This is a shame. I forbid you to be inside your house but by law in the workplace during my employees' working hours you couldn't stay, you waited for me to leave to give them orders, and they had to call me saying I was leaving if I didn't intervene. the 3 weeks that your wife forbade you to go down on the baseman were the weeks we produced the most at work. Then you got in their way again and I had to call you telling you not to interfere with their work. I quit your job in December because you were abusive a second time and asked for another meeting with your wife [it is on record] because I would refuse to talk to you. When my coworkers were doing the drywall, one of them had diarrhea because you kept screaming [just like you do during the day at your house] like crazy with them looking like they worked for you. Completely disrespectful. No words to describe your personality. You tried to defame me with all my collaborators who have followed me for a long time but you didn't succeed. Just for your meditation: You can't treat people like dirt and then bow down to God. This is called iprocreate. As you sow you will reap. you will still answer for all this. I think because you stay at home all day you think you can make fools of people. Many times you tried to take advantage of something I never fixed: the last one was February 5, there were pipes frozen in many houses and yours burst and you wanted to blame it on me. Do you remember? After I explained you took your arrangements with your insurance. Just to take advantage and nothing else. But I'm happy because I managed to deliver a good job including; plumber, electric, bath and baseman tile, very nice stairs work and much more.Tell us why here...
