1 starSeem to delete all bad reviews of items on their website. I left 2, both deleted. The return policy is also terrible. I ended up hating my dress, thought I'd get it just to try it on since they don't have any stores nearby. If I would've known I couldn't send it back for a refund I wouldn't have spent (a good chunk) of money there. The only thing you'll get is store credit. Hi *****!Your return did not get back to us yet at the time you wrote this review. When checking your tracking number, it only took 4 business days since you shipped it to us to reach us. Your return credit was processed the same day it was delivered. We are very fast & process return credits within 1-2 business days. Was told on the website my midi dress would ship immediately and was in stock. This is false . They print a shipping label that says your item has shipped! It has been a week and the item has not yet been given to the carrier. Im giving one star because I have to to be able to leave a review, so far Im very disappointed and of course they have already charged my credit card, wheres my dress??!!Lady Black Tie, LLC

I placed an order for a dress to wear to my daughters wedding. I live overseas and wanted to order while I was visiting to make sure I had a dress for the event. It came quickly but was too big. I was concerned about not getting it in time to take with me so I emailed LBT, explained my dilemma and got an email response right away. They issued me an immediate store credit with just the tracking number of the returned item. I was able to order the same dress in the correct size. They even honored the discount coupon I originally used for the first purchase. The dress once again arrived quickly and the dress fit perfectly. My experience was a good one and I would recommend this company. Im glad I wasnt swayed by reviews.Lady Black Tie, LLC

I placed an order by accident (more items were in bag than intended). I reached out to company IMMEDIATELY through email as they did not answer their phone as it was Sunday. Monday at 9:00 I receive an email saying the items shipped out already which is a RIDICULOUS response as it wasnt even placed until Sunday afternoon and there was no way that a *** pickup couldve been scheduled so quick. When I asked for a managers contact information to speak to on the matter, the email stopped responding.This is TERRIBLE customer service and so disappointing. Tried calling multiple times to speak to someone and no one. Again, I understand policy but I reached out immediately to correct the issue.Lady Black Tie, LLC

We apologize for any frustration that has stemmed from our policies and operations! The dresses you ordered had ships out in 1 business day from order on them, these get sorted immediately through our warehouse for fast shipping which starts as early as 5 or 6am Monday after a big sales weekend. To achieve the fast shipping, that means we cannot cancel or modify an order after it is placed. During high volume periods, it is not feasible for us to go in the warehouse and pluck out one individual order from piles of hundreds and sometimes thousands, especially on Mondays, as there are 3 days worth of orders going out.
Our old phone line is an auto-message that instructs customers to email us for customer service. We are uncertain why you would call it repeatedly, you would be hearing the same message over and over to email us. We see that customer service replied to your email inquiries and provided all relevant information.

READ BEFORE BUYING!!I have never left a bad review in my life. Unfortunately, I bought dresses for my bridal shower and was disappointed with the quality. I tried to return, however, I was informed that they do not give refunds, but instead give store credit. Had I known their return policy, I never would have placed an order. Their return policy is on the very bottom of their website. It is also on the invoice. It needs to be known as customer is checking out. Additionally, everything on their website needs to be marked as "final sale - exchange or store credit only." I understand that small businesses are doing what they can to survive, especially after COVID. But NOT listening to the numerous customer complaints about their return policy is not how they should be running a business. I would have loved to support them. Luckily, I was only out $243, but many people have been out several hundred/thousands of dollars, especially when they're buying multiple sizes to try on in hopes of returning the sizes that did not work.Lady Black Tie, LLC

I read the return policy prior to purchase and thought it seemed suspicious. I didnt think to check the BBB website and regretfully so. My dress arrived with missing felt flowers, holes in the pattern and burn marks from what I believe to be them ironing on the flowers. The dresses arrived late and I was out of town for work. I didnt not return home until a week after it was delivered (if it had been on time, no issues, I could have returned with in policy.) I messaged LBT as soon as I opened it and looked the dress over and found the manufacturer defects. I was told that I could return it if I paid for the label and I would get store credit.I asked if they could make an acceptation due to my work schedule because if this continues to happen with my work schedule, then I wouldnt be able to return in time and check over the items should shipping be delayed again. Horrible customer service. I understand policy, but when your items arrive later than promised you have to take some responsibility for customers not being able to respond in the time frame. Some of us work, have kids and have a schedule. We cant just sit around waiting for a package to arrive days after it is supposed to.Lady Black Tie, LLC

Your order was placed over the weekend, it shipped out first thing Monday morning and was delivered to you Wednesday morning, which is 2 days.

My daughter found a dress at LBT but did not like the color. We were told we could order the same dress in a different color. The dress arrived a few weeks later but did not look at all like the dress in the store, although the size and style were the same. When my daughter put the dress on you could see her underwear line as well as her pubic bone. She was absolutely not wearing a dress that looked like this! I was relieved when I went online to review LBT's return policy. We decided to try a new store to see if we could have any luck as the prom was less than 2 weeks away!!! With our delight, we found another dress that she loved! When I emailed LBT to get a reference number I was told that I was not going to be given store credit. I was confused as I did not leave the store with a dress, that indeed Lady Black Tie ordered the dress for me online, and the dress was shipped to my house. They offered for us to come in and exchange the dress for the same dress in a different color, but we had already bought a new dress, again, thinking I would at least have store credit for a future purchase.I am shocked that LBT would not support young women feeling good about themselves at their proms. Whatever their reason being, the bottom line is that we did NOT walk out with a dress that day. The dress was ordered online. I have asked numerous times if we had gone home that day and ordered the dress online ourselves, if we would be getting the store credit. If this is the case, their policy needs to change. I have reached out to the very reputable company that we purchased her new dress from to ask about their return policy. In reply, they stated that they have a no return policy as well, but that a see-through dress would be an exception. A call would be made to the designer and store credit would be given. To me this is reasonable and shows support to our younger generation of women that want to feel good about what they wear!Lady Black Tie, LLC

We can see that our customer service team has already corresponded with you extensively about your issue via email. To reiterate what we said there: Your gown was purchased in our brick and mortar retail store, in person at the register, where our return policy is: All sales are final. We have two ********** at checkout and it is also printed on the store receipt you received. Our returns page on our website also states this under the section about in store purchases.
You emailed us claiming the gown you ordered was made from a different fabric, we have been working with this brand for 5 years and we went out of our way to confirm the dress you received was, indeed, made from the exact same cut, fabric and shape as every single dress they manufacture and it is the same exact fabric in our retail store. When comparing the gown to the ones in store side by side, it is clear there are no defects or discrepancies with the gown.
It was then you stated your real issue was with the color you ordered and your daughter was not happy with it. As a gesture of goodwill, and allowing an exception to our policy at the store, we extended an offer that you could come in and swap the dress for the same dress in a different color.
It was only then that you finally admitted your real predicament; You purchased two prom dresses for your daughter from two different formal gown stores, who both have the same store policy: All sales are final.
We see you have followed through with leaving a poor review in the event we stood by our policies, and you mentioned a TV reporter was interested in covering this case in the event we did not offer you further exceptions. Please let us know when we can expect an interview.
We hope for mutual understanding and respect in situations such as this, in which we stand by our company policies that customers have every opportunity to review before placing orders with us in store or online. It sounds like our customer service team has done their best to provide you with information and offered you a solution. The correspondence I received made things even worse! The responder TWISTED my words and made it sound like my daughter over all was not happy with the color of the dress which is a LIE! Wow!!! Also still waiting on the answer to my question- If we had gone home and ordered the dress online would we be receiving a store credit? BUYERS BEWARE!!! I ordered my daughter a homecoming dress from them. The picture showed that the dress came about an inch and a half to 2 inches above the knee. When we received it, it was so short that there was no physical way to wear it. It was so extremely short and look nothing like the picture. The Juliette **** has adjustable spaghetti straps, and how high you pull them up will impact where the hem of the dress sits. Their response was not honest! It does have adjustable straps.which were extended to the fullest. The pictures online show it is about 2-3 inches above the knee. Also false! When I tell you it was so short there was no way humanly possible for her to wear it!!! They post false pics and descriptions. Then when you order and receive itthey tell you sorry store credit only!!! Such a dishonest company!
