In March of this year we signed up our son for a youth hockey travel summer tournament team through Elev802. The cost was $1050. They advertised 4 competitive tournaments, 3 team practices, game jerseys, professional coaching, meet and greets with pro and college hockey players. None of this took place. All tournaments were cancelled, one team scrimmage took place at the end of August. They offered ************************ in lieu of tournaments. We declined this as that is not what we signed up for. An email was sent to the owner on 7/11, 7/18, 8/ 25, 8/28 requesting a full refund. There was no response to these emails until 8/28 when they were informed via email that we would move forward with legal action. The owner responded on that day and stated a refund would Be mailed that week., that was over 11 days ago. A reminder email was sent yesterday with no response. I have attached all email correspondence.Business response

In March 2023, I signed my daughter up for a youth hockey summer tournament team through Elev802 in ******* **. The tuition was $1,050 and we paid in full at that time. The company's website advertised that the team would play in 3 local tournaments (spanning 3 weekends in June, July and August), that she would receive "three skills based practices prior to each event" as well as "a custom jersey and Elev802 Boston swag". Additionally, the company advertised that "Other perks include professional coaching, meet and greet with *** players and more". After paying in full, we never received any correspondence from this company regarding details for these events. After months of no contact, we began reaching out by phone and email, as the date of the first tournament approached. Most of my attempts to make contact were unanswered. I did receive 2-3 brief email replies from the owner, ***********************, stating that the team would not be happening, and that he would refund us our money. To date, he has not done this. In contrast, parents of boys who signed their sons up for tournament teams have received a weekend long skills session, and a promise for a voucher for $1600 work of private lessons. This was not offered to us.Business response
