Pleasant Auto Center is dishonest. On May 8, 2024, Pleasant Auto Center technicians performed an unwarranted search of my vehicle for another entity, in my complete belief. They claimed they did not have a wheel key needed to rotate my tires. They said they lost theirs and was searching for mine. They placed the wheels themselves but suddenly did not have the key, this time around, to remove them to rotate the tires. I don't have the key but they said they were searching my car for the key, after I noticed them removing the items in my trunk. I leave the items they need for my visit in the front/back seat, in this case, oil change, cabin filter, registration and tint waiver. They also went through my glove box and armrest. I even went to AutoZone and purchased a key, which the AutoZone technician confirmed fit and returned to the repair shop for them to do the tire rotation. The technician told me it didn't work and they couldn't rotate my tires. When I returned to my vehicle, with the rejected new wheel key, that's when I noticed an item from inside my armrest on my cupholder base. When I checked my glovebox, something else from my armrest was in my glovebox. Apparently, they didn't know how to fit it back in there neatly, and stuffed it in the glovebox. Rather sketchy. If you don't have the item, typically you tell the owner and let them go elsewhere. You don't conduct a search of their vehicle. they weren't planning on me seeing them removing stuff from my trunk. Even the front clerk, mom not daughter, didn't understand why they would search my car. She wasn't there that day but I spoke to her about it. I am within my rights to write a review. The complaint has a much larger scope and will be addressed but I am starting by leaving the review, albeit late.
