I was with my niece while she was picking out her wedding dress. She found one and bought it. She was as we all were caught up in the moment of happiness. She was convinced she needed another dress for after the wedding to dance in. I said I would buy her one. What we didnt know was the price and the day after she told me, no she didnt want it, it was too much money. That was July 23rd. I gave them my CC for a deposit they said. I called them on Monday. They were closed. I left a message telling them, as most brides get caught ** in the moment then change their mind. They said, they would not refund me. They have a final sales policy. I told them I totally understand that policy if she changed her mind a month from now, or 2,4,6 months from then. Especially if its been ordered. It was not ordered. She was like, Ill see what I can do. She called me back and said, nope. Were keeping your $1500. She was not friendly after that. I said thats obsurd. Its $1500. Im not rich. How hard could it be to refund me. Any business can do what they want. There are always circumstances. Who keeps that money. You or the vendor. She would not answer me. She didnt care at all. The worse part is. I told her you all should really tell clients that, before you charge them. That small fine print. Kinda unfair and just not right. Any store can change their policy depending on the circumstances. I am so sad and shocked by this. Ive never, ever heard of a bridal store refuse a refund in 2 days. My niece was heart broken that they would do that. If she would have known, she would not have gotten her dress there. What is she hates her dress. Its not right on any level. What if she regrets her ****. Its so sad that small businesses take advantage like that. I want to make a complaint. Its not right. I see that *** be the only way they make money is too fool or trick people. How can businesses like that get away with that. PleaseBusiness response

I am responding to a complaint that was filed on 8/2.
This is a bride that purchase a bridal gown and had second thoughts. Attached is the contract that she signed and initialed stating that she understands that this deposit is not returnable, exchangeable or refundable as well as the email stating that she understands that she is forfeiting the deposit but is not responsible for the balance of the gown that she purchased.
