We have visited the business and received information about several vanities and prices. We have then come back to receive the final information and a final quote. We then received an email from the business with link to a box that was put together for our documents. The box had the specifications of the vanity, the sink, and all other parts. We were asked to approve the payment and we did. When i called the business to receive information on lead time and payment, I talked to another person. I asked about payment and supply. Instead i was told that the company cannot stand behind the price they offered and we approved. The company then changed the already approved price from $4350.94 to $7480. We have travelled twice to this location and halted our changed the dates of our renovation plan based on the information we received and approved. The company substantially changed the price after the price was already agreed on and approved and posted a new price without notifying us. We have spent time and change our renovation plan. This one-sided change of a price after it was approved resulted in an increase in our renovation costs related to delaying it from the time the contractor could work and in lost time.Business response

I purchased a faucet from Salem Plumbing Supply. After almost 7 months of ownership (never installed) I asked about returning since we never used it. My contractor found exact one I wanted with proper height so it sat in box. Because of time lapse I couldnt find receipt so I called the store I bought. Parts representative told me as long as box was in tact and all parts are there with no damage there is no time restrictions on returns, based of inspection of item at time of return. Totally understandable!!! So in meantime I found my receipt. I brought to store with parts and went to counter to return. Rep at parts told me to go to sales showroom since it was bought through them. Ok. I walked out at into showroom where I was rudely shown receipt that states special ordered part, no refund available. Well..when I told them I never ordered the part, I walked in and bought the only one they had left on shelf, I was told it was ordered for the previous customer and they cancelled order. I asked why that return policy then got put on my paperwork. Seems like its falsely noted to the WRONG customer. The manager offered me no resolution the first time around. I had to call back again after being ignored by business. After finally getting second manager on phone not only was she extremely dismissive, she acted like I had no right to question what was going on. After going back and forth I was happy to pay a restocking fee, I mean, my goodness, Ive had part for 7 months. I was trying to reason with her and she cut me off. All Ill do for you is charge you 25% restocking fee and store credit. Why would I want store credit, to do more poor business. My paperwork is not correct. Its false, its not signed, there is no time stamp for returns other than me special ordering part which isnt the case and she told me I wasnt the one to order it. So why am I out for the part when I bought a stock item in my eyes. I need to relocate receipt and part for photos, will sendCustomer response

I have spoken with the customer and she will be coming in today Tuesday, June 7th to receive a refund as requested.
