Worked on my truck and didnt fix the problem engine light still on promised it would be off cant even get a ticket and its running worse then it was when they worked on itBusiness response

This is the first I am hearing that his check engine light is still on and that the truck is running poorly. He still owes me $405 from the O2 sensor I put in last month cause I was a nice guy and gave him credit. Last time I do that. I have never in my life said that a certain repair WILL get the check engine light to stay off. I say we need to start there cause that is what the vehicle is saying is wrong now. Too many times you do a repair based on the code scanned from the vehicle, that codes goes away, and a brand new code pops up and another problem. His truck may have another problem and he maybe causing / making it worse by driving it with the check engine light still on.
Usually, if he had contacted me about a further problem, I would have told him to come in and we would have diaged it for free. That would have been step one. But he jumped right to step 10 and filed a complaint with you. He is not talking to me. He is stiffing me on $400. So I am done working on anything this guy has. Tell him to have a nice life. Good luck with the truck.***********

On 08/18/2021 I walked into the business looking to get my truck looked at (fluids leaking) and ac not working. I seen a sign that said free loaner vehicles. When they looked at my car they told me it needed new transmission ********** would be $700. I said okay I need a loaner car because I am going out of state for a few days and wasnt able to drive my truck. At 530 I get my loaner vehicle and leave. Never asked for an ID or anything just traded keys. 2 days later **** calls me and tells me he was looking at the ******** needed brakes all around which would be $1150 and an ac condenser which would be $500. The labor rate is $120 an hour for the. I asked how long it would take for the breaks he said 2.5 hours, I said I would get my own parts & call back. He said I will only do that if you change the ac condenser. I said I didnt want to be said then it would be $400 rather than $300 because he isnt making money off the parts, I say no and he reports the loaner vehicle stolen &Business response

8/17 he drops off his truck and takes one of our loaner cars. 8/18 his truck is done. We tell him about the brakes and the ** repairs needed. He never gets back to us. 8/20, we talk to him and tell him we absolutely need the loaner car back that day or night. He says he will call with a credit card and swap cars that night. Never calls. 8/21 we go to move his massive truck out of the shop and will not start. Can't push it, too big. We find that there is a short between his ignition switch and the starter somewhere under his dash. Under his dash is a mess of wires from someone installing plow stuff - disaster. cheaper to run a new wire. diag and repair takes 2 hours - billable. I leave him a message saturday that if loaner not back by end of work day, I will charge him $100 a days for the loaner from when his repair was done on wednesday and that I will report the car stolen on monday at 12. no call no nothing. Monday I report the car stolen. ********* police leave him a voice mail saying no return by tuesday am and they will charge him with a felony. I got the loaner back tuesday am. He went 6 days over with the loaner. Never told us or asked if he could. We still have his truck. He has not called but once to swear at us and threaten us. I left him a message Thursday saying if the truck is still here after Friday which now it is, it is $35 a day storage fee. His **** is the original $750ish, the $240 for the wiring repair, $600 for the loaner extension and now $35 a day storage. More than willing to work with him on the total but he never calls or answers phone. please get the f****** truck out of here and him out of my life. *****************
