      Tons of failed pods and a failed controller. I was promised twice that I would get the controller two different days and we are going on a week now! Every time I call they say there is a shipping delay or they dont ship out on certain days. Quite ridiculous. My blood sugar levels have been so hard to control without my pump. I am allergic to long lasting insulin and have to bolus every couple of hours to keep it under control. I have a newborn and being up every two hours is making my life a living h*** They need to get their act together. It shouldnt take more than a couple of days to receive my life saving equipment.

      I have been on the Insulet Omnipod for years. I like Omnipod but I continue to call them asking for modifications on their transmitter and when will their mobile app controller come out. All they say is this year and they do not give any updates. Their customer service is not the best. I just get the runaround. I have been diabetic for 30 Years and their test populations should be people with the actual disease. If I am getting my alerts from my Dexcom, do I really need ANOTHER alert from their transmitter. Especially when it is for missing sensor values bc the Dexcom is malfunctioning or getting a low blood sugar alert that I receive on my Dexcom and sometimes could not be accurate. Just frustrated how long it has been taking and my sleep has been suffering with all these loud alerts from the transmitter.

      I am a physician and both my wife and 11-year old daughter have T1DM and use the omnipod. Prior to that my wife used a Medtronic pump and had only 1 pump failure during those years. Since switching to Omnipod we have had at least 5-6 PDM failures - about 1 per year - the most recent being about an hour ago. My wife is in tears in frustration as she has tried to get help from customer service. Medtronic customer service was always excellent and failure rates were significantly lower. We only made the switch due to the appeal of tubeless control. But Omnipod needs to step up their QC and/or provide a back-up PDM to customers, or get run over by the competition. If there isn't any change I'll happily lead the charge and encourage patients to carefully consider the numerous other options.

      I had 8-10 consecutive failed omnipods and the company refuses to replace them. Their product failed. And when I called to ask for replacements because my insurance wont cover it they told me no because I hadnt saved the failed products. It is marketed as disposable so I threw them away when they didnt work. Now Im facing 1-2 months without pods and when I asked what I was supposed to do about it because my insurance wont give me more for weeks they told me it wasnt their problem and that I should have saved my medical waste. WTF!??!? I have been using them for years. They clearly just had a bad batch of pods and instead of owning up to it they told me to go away. Im already researching alternative products because this company clearly doesnt care about diabetic health like they claim. They only care about marketing a bad product and wont do anything to fix their mistakes.I also wanted noted that I have 2 pediatric age siblings that are also diabetic and they wont replace those pods either. So they are leaving kids to get sick, too. Not just the adults.Disgusting money greedy company.

      My experience 1/22/24- Ordered 3 month supply of pods. The representative told me the cost was $800 since my deductible was not met. I agreed to make payments on that price. I was told the order would ship the next day, and I would get an email confirmation. I Called Insulet back on the 24th because I hadn't received an email about my order. They said there was no record of my 9 minute conversation about the order. I was asked if I would like to reorder, and I did. I neglected to ask the price this time, and I regret that. I called them back again to verify the $800 cost and they had no idea, and billing told me they wouldn't know until it went through my insurance, which has never been the case before. Now it could be as much as $1600, according to Insulet.I was also put on the automatic refill list without my knowledge two times.You should always record your phone call with Insulet Corp and document everything.This may go to my attorney soon, and I will be changing to a different pump for sure. I am quite suspicious about the missing order.I gave the review one star for the product, best I could do.

      Pure NEGLIGENCE regarding T1D patients! I need constant insulin delivered to my body hourly due to the fact I no longer produces insulin. I had a mishap with my controller and it no longer worked so I called to get a replacement. Instead of the agent sending the controller quickly as she promised, she didnt send it at all. I missed a week of sleep because I have to constantly check my glucose and correct with a syringe, hence the reason Im on an insulin pump. The gamer made sure to tell me I owe $150 for the replacement but never cared this is the way I stay alive. So dealing with my sugar levels being all over the place , I also have to deal with a company that hires employees that do not care about critically ill patients.

      Their support is absolutely horrible. Many times I will have an nissue with their PDM rebooting and I do not even call them. Other times their pods fail early or do not setup and when trying to get a replacement is an extreme hassle.

      Horrible customer service. Was on with them for 40 minutes, and finally gave up. The product has promise, but they need fast, efficient, and knowledgeable customer support. The questions they ask and detail they ask is inappropriate. Dexcom customer support if far better, and they need to replicate Dexcom ****** Support.

      Worst insulin pump I have ever had! You are trying to kill us!! The amount of pods that have failed on me is insane!!!
