      FEBRUARY *******, I PURCHASED CAMERA SYSTEM FROM SIMPLISAFE **** PAID THROUGH AFFIRM FOR THE *** OF $333.84 LESS THAN 5 DAYS I REALIZED THAT THAT CAMERA WOULD NOT WORK FOR ME. I CALLED SIMPLISAFE UP AND THEY ASKED THAT I RETURN SAME WHICH I DID BUT HAD WAS TO FINISH PAY FOR THE CAMERA THROUGH AFFIRM BECAUSE THEY KNEW ABOUT THE RETURN BUT SAID THAT I HAVE TO PAY FIRST THEN THEY WOULD TAKE UP THE MATTER WITH SIMPLISAFE TO GIVE ME A REFUND. TODATE I CANNOT GET MY REFUND AND SIMPLISAFE STAFFS ARE GIVEING ME THE RUN AROUND. COULD YOU PLEASE HELP ME TO GET MY REFUND PLEASE. I AM A 76-YEAR-OLD SENIOR AND CANNOT AFFORD TO GIVE AWAY $333.84 TO A COMPANY THAT RECEIVE THE ***** AND MONEY...WHO CAN WE TRUST? CERTAINLY NOT SIMPLISAFE, THEYLIED IN THE INITIAL STAGE THAT I WOULD NOT NEED TO PAY A MONTHLY FEE UNTIL IT AND MY TECHNICAN WHO CAME TO INSTALL IT ASK ME IF I AM AWARE THAT I WILL HAVE TO PAY MONTHLY TO GET IT TO WORK. I SAID NO. IT WAS THN THAT I CALL THEM UP AND THEY SAID THAT THE WILL HAVE TO SEND ME A RETURN LABEL WHICH TOOK ALMOST 2 MONTHS FOR THEM TO ISSUE THAT TO ME. WHAT KIND OF A MORALS THESE PEOPLE HAVE? THEY. GOT THE GOOD AND THE MONEY AND SOMEONE NEED TO LET THEM KNOW THAT WHAT THEY ARE DOING IS CRIMINALLY WRONG. VERY WRONG..THANKS MUCH,******************

      Terrible product. The product never worked. I live in a city that is slightly busy. I have done everything theyve asked me to do to mitigate it. They have on their own replaced all of the components to try to make it work, even though I told them that that wasnt the problem, the solar panels dont work. The batteries now asked for a refund and Ive been told no horrible company.

      I purchased in 2019 for $300, but had never set up, or started service. Went to set up, and a pop-up tells me, internet no longer supports 2G cellular module, please call to receive your FREE 4G cellular module. WELLLL, they no longer have them, I have to buy a whole new package! Offered 60% discount, so new package would be $214. I don't think so!!! How can this company get away with this? Poor customer support, false claims, why would I throw more money back to them??So glad this is all the money they have gotten out of me. But! Still a waste!! Don"t BUY from this company.

      ****** worked fine for three years, then last week suddenly stopped working, locking us out of the house as we are arriving late from a trip. Called support who told me that it was because I didnt update the firmware, and wasnt notified because I had opted to stop the monthly subscription service. I was also told that I wasnt eligible for any financial remuneration, because I wasnt a paid subscriber, even though I purchased and continued to use the smart lock. Terrible customer, would not recommend.

      SimpliSafe. Ive had weekly theft and breakins using SimpliSafeat my apartment. They steal or cook and eat my food in my apartment. They stole my sheets and towels, 35 plus books and books on CD. They stole my bank statements, credit cards and put small amounts on all card.Then Approximately *****. On one credit card. They poisoned my cat, and pulled the feathers out of my 2oz birds wing.When my cat came out of the hospital,partially shaved spots, after 3 weeks growth, the shaved his leg, hip and side leaving razor *****.Then they cut my cats hair back on patches they shaved, so his skin was not protected. They destroyed my coffee machine with bugs, they cut up my clothes, they opened my packed boxes to move and I dont know what else they did. I am afraid to leave , because my pets will be abused.Ive been trying to move for 2 years out of *******, because ** constantly being abused here. They stole bank statements and tax records. They stole my notebooks for my studies of finance, health and nutrition, relationships, business opportunities, etc , Ive been studying for 3 years.My review is zero. Nothing.They have BS me non stop.Criminals .

      I will keep this brief. Proven faulty sensors caused a false alarm at my home while I was at work. Police arrive 50 minutes after the alarm was triggered and realized nothing was happening. Los ************************* charged me 329$ for the visit. Called Simplisafe, spoke with ****************** in Escalations. She did a week long investigation, discovered the entry sensor that caused the false alarm was faulty as well as a few others, Liberte then informed me per policy Simplisafe will not pay for the 329$ fee. End of story. *********************************, CEO of Simplisafe, I would like to speak to you personally about Simplisafe policies and why I should stay as a customer. Get my number from ******************, she knows all about my situation.

      I chucked this system after 18 months. Got the same run around and constant accusations that it was my WiFi connection.?If you want actual security cameras that uhmmm, oh you know, capture events when they happen, youll need a 24/7 surveillance system. SimpliSafe, Ring and all the other DIY systems are cheap, entry-level platforms that, at best, under perform. By the time a crime occurs, the perp will be long gone before the sleepy Simpli Safe security cameras wake up to film it.

      Terrible system. I could not cancel my fire alarm despite pressing "off" in the app repeatedly for an hour. *************** was called and I had to put my base station in my car because it was impossible to turn the alarm off even with help from tech support. Definitely get SimpliSafe if you want to pay for hold music, false alarms that result in emergency services showing up, and lots of time with friendly tech support people who can't solve your problem.

      First and most importantly, NO I would not recommend the SimpliSafe Home Security System to family and/or friends.We purchased our system in October 2023; I gave the system a full six-(6) months in use prior to posting a review, I wanted ample experience with the system so that I gave a fair analysis of the system. We purchased three-(3) outdoor cameras, one-(1) indoor camera, one-(1) doorbell, and twenty-one (21) entry sensors plus the base station and an extra siren. The battery life for the cameras are not the greatest and take approximately five-(5) hours to recharge, I recommend having an additional battery as backup so that you have a spare charged at all times. The cameras do not pick up and/or spool quickly enough to change from the front door to the side door; thereby, the system allows someone to walk around the side of the house without being recognized and/or recorded. Cameras take too long to spool, prepare, and provide a recording; by the time the system does what it needs to in order to post the video, the person at the door has walked away. Many times, the videos are corrupt and unusable. The cameras DO NOT always record, all too often the system does not pick up anything at all and we know this because there are deliveries on the porch, but no recordings are stored on the timeline. Example: Yesterday at *****am the camera picked up our outdoor kitty but has not recorded anything since and weve had 2 deliveries, I went to the mailbox, parents came to visit and nothing. Finally, the quality of the recordings are not the best. Entry sensors have off-line error messages as if there is a window/door open; however, all windows are closed. Was told to try a restart, only that did not work. The only fix that I have found was to delete and reinstall the sensor.In all fairness, the price is not bad when you catch it on sale and the monthly fee is more reasonable than ADT.

      I had a scare with a former significant other and decided it might be wise to have a security system installed. I began to set up the equipment and decided to wait to finish and activiate my account. I needed the time to make sure all of my ducks were in a row so I didn't accidentally cause the police to show up at my house. Shortly I got terribly ill and was unable to finish the install. I am now healed, months later, and I just looked at my bank account and noticed that they began billing me as soon as I started to install the system components on my property. I was planning on using their system in the future, but I did not use their service and did not think that I should be charged for no services rendered. They tried to offer me three free months of service from my call, but when I declined (in order to have no more surprise charges in case I still not install their service) they refused to refund me for the initial month. This is pretty deceitful. I wish I searched this company on BBB before I purchased their system components. 1.25 stars out of 5 is pretty terrible and I understand why they have this paltry rating.
