              Poor customer **********************. Do not purchase your insurance through this company. Paid for COBRA benefits and they deny us having any coverage. Its taken 6 months already and still no resolution. I keep getting the runaround.

              BCBS sells MEDEX supplemental coverage for the ******** recipients. They do not always provide correct information to the ******** data base. When you try to switch to another provider, be warned that if your information was not submitted correctly, you will be charged Part D penalty.Don't expect any help from BCBS in fixing the error,

              I have used Diclofenac Sodium Gel 3% for more than 5 years to treat joint inflammation pain in the knees. I only use it occasionally when needed. BCBS ********* Value Rx) Has filled my doctor's prescription for this many years without an issue. When I called to refill it they rejected it because there was "not enough information on my SKIN CONDITION" - huh! DSG is also used to relieving joint pain. We have fought BCBS about this to no avail and if I have to buy this OTC it will $900. Being retired I am not in that privileged class of people that can afford that.The terrible part is this may mean I have to go to an orthopedic doctor and possibly have knee surgery, which BCBS will cover at a MUCH HIGHER price. Does that make sense? NO.The call center person in so many word admitted that money is the issue - i.e. let's feed the shareholders but s**** the people using the service.I have used BCBS for many years because they get so high ratings. It has got so much worse that I hope I can find another ******** Advantage Plan next year.

              Bluecross wont cover any of my 74 year old dads copd medicine that he needs absolutely Ridiculous.. cost over 300 a month for the medicine.. Not to mention its almost $500 a month for the coverage with ******** Ive made multiple calls as his copd is getting way worse.. northimg they will do

              Constantly being wrongly charged for medical cost due to their error. Worked for an employer whom had bcbs. Went to work for another company for over a year that was under United Healthcare. Now back under the previous company with bcbs. United is now charging me all the costs due to bcbs saying I was an employee with them the whole time.

              Terrible follow through when I was trying to get a doctor approved medication override for my upcoming vacation. I had to make 3 separate calls to the ***** phone number (30+ minutes each time) to get the approval. The first 2 times I was assured they would get back to me on a certain day. Both times THERE WAS NO FOLLOW THROUGH. NO PHONE CALL. The run-around was time-consuming and frustrating.

              BCBS approved 50,000$ treatment request by the provider and after treatment, BCBS denied the funds. Also, I filed a claim for an earlier treatment of around 2700$ and they denied it 5 times without written notice or providing an explanation. They gave me a wait time of 1 month and I have to call them each time after one month to confirm the status along with waiting for hours on call since no representative is available to answer the call.

              So I need a prior authorization for a surgery. The doctors office keeps trying but the website they are referred too has an issue so they call my insurance. The insurance either refers them back or they cant get a hold of them. Im upset because ** supposed to have this surgery in 8 days. I have taken time off of school and my husband has taken time off from work.

              Was placed in BCBS of Massachusetts and Blue MedicareRx and it has been a horrendous experience. Unable to get prescription filled because have not been issued a prescription card. Only way to contact for help is by phone. Calls are answered robotically and unable to decipher something as simple as an ID number. I can reach a live person in customer support for nonessential retailers. Yet a company responsible for providing health insurance, and sometimes must deal with life and death issues, thinks it ok to rely on AI (Automated Idiocy)! Counting the days for next year's open enrollment.

              They are a terrible company that ignore in network doctor's recommendations for long Covid treatment. Complete lack of transparency and arbitrary decisions on their part. I would encourage individuals and companies to avoid them.
