Dear *** or Madam,I am writing to file a complaint against Blue Ocean Realty LLC (blueoceanboston.com).The reason I want to complain is this company is not responsible for the incorrect action their agent did, and the *** told me she did not have management responsibility to the agents.First, I want to explain what the agent did.We are the first-time buyer and the agent told us that the house we were interested in did not have any critical issues. However, after signing P&S Agreement, we found very obvious penetrating cracks in the foundation and walls of this house, with the widest of the cracks measuring 2 inches. it is very obvious and cannot be ignored as a professional agent. Furthermore, the agent advised us to submit a clear offer. We trusted her assurance that there were no issues with the property so we waived the inspection. Additionally, the agent did not inform us of our right to inspect for information. She even told us it was illegal to have an inspection for information when we found the cracks and wanted to have an inspection.Our decision to submit an offer, waive the inspection, and add $70K for this house was all based on the agent telling us there were no critical issues with the property. Second, the broker did not try to solve the problem at all.I have already contacted Blue Ocean Realty to express my concerns and request a resolution, but I was informed by the *** that the company does not have any responsibility for the actions of their agent and the company is only responsible for accounting (charge a commission for the transaction). I asked if the company would give me some response to my complaint, and the *** said No. This response is unacceptable, as I searched Mass Gov website, and found the real estate broker company is ultimately responsible for the actions of their agents.Thanks so much for your help with me!Best,****Customer response
