Save yourselves money and grief and don't use Blue Ocean Realty! Horrific property management company! My daughter lived at ************* where there were roaches and numerous days in winter without heat. ****************** was unresponsive and ignored requests to fix heating issues. At the end of the lease, it took over 45 days to get security deposit back and they deducted $650 for fictitious reasons. Completely dishonest and deceptive practices. Renters beware!

Blue Ocean Realty is horrible at communication, especially in a timely manner. They do not answer the phones, only text and email and it becomes a lengthy game of email tag for days that should have been resolved over the phone. They are very disorganized and charge far too much, along with involving themselves in scummy practices to try and get more money from you/uneducated folks about real estate law. If you can, DO NOT BUY/RENT/MANAGE your property through these people. Everything with them is always a fight, and their portal is a step away from being useless.

If you have a family, or care about your safety in any way, please consider my experience before you choose to rent one of their properties. The carelessness of Blue Ocean ******************* has turned our life into a chaotic nightmarenamely, their failure to do proper background checks on residents.The property management allowed a person who has a long and decorated criminal background (drugs, theft, vandalism) to move into the building. If you ****** this person's name, these crimes are public information, and there are dozens of records on ******'s first page about this person. This person has even been so disruptive that they've shown up in the ****** news. This is why I believe Blue Ocean did not do a background check before letting this person live here, and because of this, they've made the residents responsible for the exact crimes this person has committed in the past.This person has been a dangerous disruption to our complex; they have stolen from neighbors repeatedly, invaded property and entered family homes without permission while under the influence of illegal narcotics, and have been dragged away by the police at least three times I know ofonce for threatening to jump off the roof of the building. This incident resulted in their children being put into care of another person.The last straw for us was when this person, again under the influence, took a rock from the path behind our apartment and shattered our car window, breaking into the car and attempting to steal something. The police were called, again, before they were able to take anything, but the back window was completely shattered. Before this, we'd never had any interactions with this person; we'd only known about them through their issues in the complex, so we were essentially strangers and random targets.The eviction process has been long, but each day we're here, we fear our safety and our belongings because of Blue Ocean's poor decision.
