      In Sept. 2022 a friend and I paid over $7000 for a trip in Oct. 2023. The travel company, Vantage World Travel, has ceased operations and it appears that we will not get out money back. This is theft. The company had continued to sell trips even knowing they would never occur.

      We booked a deluxe vacation down the Rhine River scheduled for May 21, 2023. A total payment of $9210.00 was made through my bank ***** of America) to Vantage on November 2, 2022. (I have the receipt from BofA.) On May 12, we received a call from Vantage saying that the trip was cancelled due to "ship readiness problems". One option was a full refund which we requested. It was almost impossible to get through to Vantage, but a did get through a couple of times and have gotten replies to a couple of emails from their customer ********************** saying where due a full refund and that we were "in the queue", but they were unable to tell us when we would get our refund. Since June 20, we have heard nothing more and then we find the company has filed for bankruptcy. I have receipts, paid invoices and emails showing our payment of $9210.00 and their acknowledgement that we were due a full refund. We wish to get that refund.

      I paid Vantage $8110.00 for a tour in Europe.The tour date is 10/05/2023.Now I receive a notice from Vantage that is chapter 11 of bankruptcy.They dont answer telephone calls.I need help to get back my money.I hope you can help me.It was my wife dream tour and is lot of money to us.

      On 12/21/2022 we paid Vantage Travel $13,196.00 for a cruise and airline tickets. One of our departure flights was canceled and rebooked in a lower class. On our return an airport error in ****** ********* caused us to miss a Qantas connecting flight to *********, thus causing us to miss our United flights home. Qantas ticketed United flights for our return, but we were required to pay over $5000 for those flights. Allianz travel insurance, purchased when the trip was booked, has denied any reimbursement for the missed or rebooked return flights. We requested refunds from the airlines but have been told that any refunds would be sent to Vantage rather than to us. In the case of United they have sent two refund checks for $404 each to Vantage. We would like to recover these funds from Vantage Travel, and any other funds they receive from the airlines.

      Trip was supposed to happen on 4/19/2023 but I was never officially notified of the cancelation. I made several attempts to contact the company via phone and email and only talked to someone twice in which both times they told me someone would be contacting me regarding my options. I went back on the website to download all receipts for the trip and all information had been removed. A transaction on 12/12/2022 was made on my bank account for ************ remaining amount of the trip was a credit from a previous trip. I have continued to try to make contact with the company but the phone number no longer rings and the emails are not returned. My customer number is *******. The reservation number is ******

      We first reserved the trip Deep into the Amazon in 2021, scheduled to depart March 20, 2022. We paid $23,488 in November 2021 for that trip, including airfare. Vantage cancelled that trip with no explanation in early 2022 and issued us a trip credit. We chose to apply that credit to the tour Best of Africa, scheduled to depart May 19, 2022 (returning June 8, 2022). We paid additional monies to bring the new total amount paid to $35,797 (including Allianz trip insurance). The trip was cancelled for cause; a positive COVID-19 PCR test for one of the travelers in our party that came back the night before our flight from *** to *********. Riverside County ** immediately called and texted instructing the infected party to quarantine. Vantage also required an attestation to the tour operator, on arrival, that neither of us had recently tested positive for COVID. So, we cancelled with Vantage before going to the airport and returned home. We filed a claim with Allianz on May 22, 2022. They let us know that we needed a cancellation invoice from Vantage to complete the claim. Despite repeated requests, Vantage failed to provide that invoice until July 12, 2022. Once we received the invoice, we immediately submitted the invoice to Allianz so they could complete the processing of our claim. We received a positive resolution letter from Allianz on September 16, 2022. Repeated requests to Vantage regarding the status of our refund and/or voucher for future travel. We only received a couple of replies that simply stated that were running behind. It has now been **** months since we cancelled and filed our claim with Allianz (and 14 months since Vantage cancelled the Amazon Cruise we originally booked and paid for). ***************** made the decision that Vantage should process our refund 9 months ago. But, even now, Vantage still only responds with that they are running behind. The amount due us, after deducting travel insurance paid, is $32,455.

      I purchased a trip (African Safari) and paid for it ($33,374) in August of 2022.About a month ago they advised my trip was cancelled and I asked for an immediate refund.They said they elevated my request to finance, and did NOT respond to further inquiries.Yesterday I learned they filed a Chapter 11; it appears they are out of business.I want my refund; help!

      Vantage Travel Deluxe is in BK-11; the customers, like myself, will receive NOTHING because we are NOT a priority creditor. I am out $33,374 dollars, and there is NO avenue to collect the money I paid for the African Safari, a once-in-a-lifetime investment.

      Paid in full July 13,2022 by check for ******* Isles Cruise.Trip was cancelled June 3, 2023 Offices closed June 13,2023 Chapter 11 bankruptcy June 30, 2023 Company continued to book trips, which they knew would not take place.They now our attempting to sell their customer info to another company with still no refunds to customers.Realize this is lost cause, but would like to get it on record, for proceedings and customers unaware.

      We booked our 3rd trip with Vantage and paid in full in the amount of $7556.00 on Nov. 22, 2022 which schedule to the trip **************** Brazilian Coastal Cruise - Oct 3, 2023. However, Vatange file bankruptcy. and cancel all the cruise ship without informed us. We would like to request get our full refunds back.

      My invoice dated Dec.16,2022 states that I paid $12,798 for a trip to the Danube River. The trip dates were June 5 2023 -June 20 2023 was cancelled in late May. I contacted Vantage and was told by an agent of Vantage that I could choose new dates for the trip or receive a refund. I opted to receive the refund. I have contacted Vantage several times through their Chat feature and have had no reply. I have travelled with Vantage more than 15 times, and am at a loss to understand why they have not replied to any of my requests. I want to get a refund for a trip that I paid for and which was cancelled by Vantage.I have a copy of the invoice but don't know how to upload it.
