On July 9, 2023 I took my Persian cat ****** (2.7) years old to PetMedic in *********, ** . Dr. **************** evaluated him and said he needed surgery for a blocked urinary tract. Which he was there 2 weeks prior for UTI symptoms, which they found nothing from urine culture. Her bed side manner is totally unprofessional and she could of cared less that my cat died during surgery. All she cared about was me signing the estimated of ***** prior to surgery, at which time I didn't care about the cost, as long as my cat lived. She has no compassion whatsoever and her lack of empathy totally sucked! I have referred several people to PetMedic and I never ever had a problem in the past. However, I won't be anymore! I was visibly distraught and still am in shock over the sudden loss of my cat. I then took my cat to ***** in North Grafton, MA was an autopsy . The concluded he had very high levels of potassium and should NOT of been given the amount of anethesia that he had which caused him to have a heart attack due to the high levels of potassium. Her behavior is totally unacceptable and she could care less about animals! I now I received one refund from the last visit and would like the additional refund in the amount of ****** and the cost that I paid to *********, Final Gift and the cost of the catCustomer response
