Braintree Family Dental randomly called me one Saturday asking me to come in for a cleaning after I had not come in for some time. I agreed and scheduled an appointment for 11/6/2023. The day of the appointment they asked me if my ****************** was still current. I said no and provided them with my United Dental Insurance card. They spend several minutes with this card and then said I was all set. I went in for the ***************** As they are doing the **rays their devise seemed to be broken so they just freehanded the **rays and they barely cleaned my teeth and additionally used an electric drill and cut my gums in multiple places. I have since found a new dentist and they said they **rays Braintree Family Dental sent were too blurry and had to retake them. My new dentist also removed some build up plaque that should have been removed during my initial cleaning on 11/6. I have since gotten a bill for $153 saying they ran my Guardian ins but it wasnt active. I emailed stating that it was old and provided them with my new insurance to which they replied simply stating they dont take ***************** I asked why they didnt tell me that prior and they just said sorry for the confusion. Im extremely dissatisfied with the service itself and the fact that they didnt tell me prior about not accepting my insurance. I would like for my bill to be voided or at least heavily discounted. I have not paid anything to them for this service yet.Customer response
