July 3rd, 2024 I hired National Floors Direct from *************. I had to put a small deposit down of $466.00 which I did by check and it cleared 2 days later.Then Monday July 8th, 2024 a Hurricane caused damage to my home. We tried to cancel the flooring job due to all the damage to our property and told this company the floors were no longer a concern to get done anytime soon. I spoke to a Supervisor and was told when I requested my deposit just be refunded I was laughed at and told I wouldn't be getting one that in fact I still owed then a restocking fee of $900 more dollars on top of my $466 I already paid them for a deposit. The Supervisor told me they already had my flooring from the warehouse. Not once did they even care I just went threw a Hurricane and had damage. Extremely poor service. When the repairs came out to talk to us about what flooring we wanted my husband offered him a drink. He seen that we had a bar with alcohol and for whatever reason my husband gave him a glass of *******. My husband poured it and the rep said keep going. He ended up drinking about half a glass on the job! I was appalled my husband allowed this. I told the Supervisor and his response was you shouldn't have offered him a drink. No sir he shouldn't have drank or even asked for that alcohol on the job@ Supervisor didn't came at all!
