My most recent credit card statements inaccurately reflect my balance subject to interest.Per correspondence from SCU dated 12/20/23, transactions made on or before 02/10/2024 would have current APR applied to these transactions. On the date of receipt of that correspondence, my current APR was 0%; therefore any transactions dated on or prior to 02/10/24 should reflect 0% interest, with any charges incurred thereafter reflecting the *****% interest.On 03/24/2024 I wrote to SCU via the online portal asking them to please correct my statement to reflect this error so that my balance due accurately reflects interest charges based on date the charges were incurred. I also sent them a letter to the same effect via USPS.On 04/22/2024 I spoke with *************************, Senior VP of Consumer Lending at SCU who informed me that the letter I had received in December 2023 contained an error and should not have stated that I would be maintaining 0% interest on the balance owed prior to 02/10/2024. Given that this was the bank's mistake, he told me that my credit line would be subject to an additional 12 months at 0% interest to provide some relief.On 05/21/2024, I received a statement from Sharon Credit Union for this same credit card dated 05/13/2024, which still reflects a *****% balance. I have now had 3 months (March, April and May) of interest charges and three months of payments which have been applied towards interest rather than principal due to this error on the part of the bank.On 05/22/2024, I received another statement from Sharon Credit Union, also dated 05/13/2024, this time for a credit line which I know nothing about. On 05/23/2024 I called card member services to report the credit line as potentially fraudulent at which point I was told it was opened in June 2023 (unbeknownst to me) and was then closed out on 05/13/2024.I previously reported SCU due to similar issues in 2022. I am concerned there may be systemic malfeasance. Please investigate.
