I brought The ******* Tucson car but with less then a year of purchase , the car had engine issues and stop while driving.I had to towing the car to a car repair . But they told me to bring it back to the dealer because where i brought it from. I had to towing it again. But when I bring it to Millennium Motors they told me . The person who sold me the car .Doesnt work here anymore. And I have to pay 7000$ to fix it . I ask them if they can trade it for me .They said no because I still own money in the ******* Tucson.Business response

When I sold ******************** the 2017 Tucson on 05/04/2023, I offered her the extended warranty, but she declined it. Instead of 60 day warranty, I gave her 90 day warranty. About one year later, she called the dealership asking if she can bring her car in because it does not start. The service manager told her yes, of course, assuming it was a minor problem and he would fix it for her as he helps all the customers. But when he found out that the engine was seized and it had no oil, he told her that she needs an engine overhauled. The service manager called ******* for her to find out if there was a recall on these engines but the ******* dealer's answer was no recall. Then he researched it and found out that ******* recalled ****** 2017 ******* Tucson in November 2021 due to a potential engine fire or failure. Then he called ******* corporate for her, but they wouldn't communicate with him since he did not own the car. So he told ******************** to call ******* and make the case with them especially since her car had low mileage.
We were shocked to learn that she made a complaint about us, all we did was trying to help her out. Definitely, we're not covering the engine after one year especially that the car came with no oil in the engine.
To ********************, your vehicle has been on our property for about three month, it's taking a storage space and covered by our insurance. Please remove your car immediately, if it's not removed after 72 hrs. we're going to charge you a storage fee.
