      On or about Dec 13, 2021. A roof leak around my sky-light. Called Home Advisor they recommended Roof Hunter. He came, it was now dusk, he said no problem he had lights to work with. After about 45 minutes, he called down and said he found and fixed the leak (silicone cocking). I paid him the $750.00 he asked for, said his work was guarantied for 6 months. 3 days later it rained and the leak was still there as bad as ever. I contacted him, and he kept putting me off,or not answering the phone call. I called Home Advisor and compained they said there was an arbitration process to handle problems, I said I needed it fixed or my money back. I had to pay another contractor (NOT thru Home Advisor) to come and they corrected the leak in about 1 hr. It's now June, home advisor told me they were waiting for the contractor to get back to them. No further comunication from them or the contractor has happened. This contractor ripped me off for $750.

      I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.   As an FYI, I do have a picture of the leak damage (taken after it was told it was fixed).

      I gave a deposit on a roof repair of $2,600 in November of 2021 to ************************* of Roof Hunters.He was supposed to make the repairs by early December 2021. He cashed the check immediately but never made the repairs and will not respond to me or contact me. It is now May 2022 and unfortunately, I am out $2,600. I have a signed contract and a cancelled check for documentation. Please help. His contact information is...1316 *********************************************** ************** Thanks

      I had roof shingle damage do to the wind. I had ************************* of Roof Hunters who came and inspect the damage. He said he could repair the damage for $500.00 but recommended replacing that side of the roof because of the age of the shingles. I asked for a price to replace the roof. On 4-2-2022 he sent me an email with a invoice #**-467 for $4704.33. On 4-6-22 I got a phone message from ***** saying that he made a mistake on the price and it would be $1,100. Less and if I hadnt hired somebody to give him a call. I called him 4-11-2022 and told him he could have the job. He came out that evening to discuss the work involved and stated he could start as soon as he got the materials. He would need a deposit of $1644.00. I gave him a check #**** for $1644.00 so he could get started. The following week I called his ************ and left messages multiple times and sent emails to ************************ with no response. On 4-22-2022 I got a text message on my phone saying his truck broke down and was being repaired and he was sorry for the miscommunication . I emailed him and told him that there was no miscommunication and I wanted my money returned knowing that the check was cashed. I have tried to contact him several times with no response. His answering service is no longer taking calls.
