I signed a Service Agreement with TLC Private ********* on Monday, August 7, 2023 to hire 24 hour CNA services (in 12 hours shifts) to help take care of my father who was released from ***************** via VNA/Hospice. They started at 7:00 pm on 8/7/2023. Unfortunately, my father passed away the morning of 8/9/2023. The agreement states I am to pay a nonrefundable deposit (equal to 1 week of care). Upon signing this document, ***********************************, did state that if my father did pass away, funds would be refunded. I have called TLC 3 times to ask when I will receive a refund as they only worked 36 hours, not a full week. They stated I would receive a paper check, the refund would not be credited electronically back to the account the payment was withdrawn from. I have not yet received any refund and they did not return my last phone call. Therefore, I felt it necessary to file this complaint and hope you can help me get a refund for work they did not perform.
