In August 2022, while traveling between ************** and ******, I stopped at Abe's Complete Auto Service to repair a problem with my air conditioner. The repair was completed but I was told that I also needed to replace all four of my tires as they were bald. This was also done. When I returned to ****** and prepared to change to my winter tires in October, my mechanic told me that I would need to replace all four of my summer tires as they were bald. I had driven less than **** km. on the supposedly new tires that Abe's Complete Auto Service had installed. My mechanic suggests that there is no way that these tires had only **** km. driven on them. I believe that I have been the victim of fraud whereby used tires were sold to me as new with the idea that a customer passing through *********, ************* with ****** license plates would be highly unlikely to return to complain about the misrepresentation. I would like the price that I paid ($149.00 per tire) to be adjusted to reflect that fact that I was not dealt with in an honest and forthright manner.Business response

Thank you for sending over pictures of the tire(s). Kindly send over pictures of all 4 tires with the *** numbers located on the sidewall to assist in the claim with the tire manufacturer.Customer response

Thank you for your reply. I have clicked on the "Do Not Accept" box because I do not believe that the complaint has been resolved yet. I have included the photos of the *** numbers of the tires as requested. I am quite happy to continue to work with the business in order to try to find a suitable resolution.

Thank you for all the supporting documentation that you have provided and your patience while we review.
There was a delay in our review due to getting our vendor involved and then having to reach out to the manufacturer, and it has gone too long. As a shop, we are going to reimburse you for the 4 tires ($596). We apologize for the length of time this has taken.
At your convenience please call us at ************ and ask for ****** to complete the refund.
