On 4/28/23, I made an appt online for a service at Le Petit Salon for 5/23/23. On the website there is a message that mentions a 50% deposit to book (Pic 1). I went to the service I wanted - No Poo Transformation + Curly/Style and ****** ************ The service has a price distinction for long hair and short/medium hair, and the listed prices are $60 and $100, respectively (Pic 2). If you click on the short/medium hair and go to book, it shows you the deposit *** of 50% of the $100 + tax, $53.12 (Pic 3). When you click on long hair and do the same, it shows a deposit *** of $60 + tax, $63.75 (Pic 4). Though that is the full *** of the listed service, not 50%, I assumed they wanted a full deposit b/c the service price was low. So I booked and paid the $63.75 thinking the service was $60. No different price was listed in the confirmation emails.I went for my appt. When complete, my stylist told me the *** I paid was only 50% of the service price. I said the *** listed online was $60 and she said that was only the half price deposit ***. I respectfully explained that all other services showed the full price and asked for the owner. The owner came to the balcony of the 2-story salon and told me that the price shown online was the 50% deposit price and that all the prices shown are the deposit price of the service. I politely asked if she would come down so I could show her on my phone that that's not true, she said it is true and she did not need to come down b/c she already knows. B/c she wouldn't hear me out, I told her I would not pay the add'l amount. She said she would charge my card anyway and did w/o my consent. She was rude and unwilling to listen. The ***s listed on the website are confusing. At best a mistake, at worst, fraudulent - her refusal to hear me out makes me think the misrepresentation is intentional. I would like a full refund, $120, given the horrible experience. I made this appt for graduation photos the same day and this ruined the experience.Customer response
