I was called at home by a representative of Foundation One. My doctor had told me about them so I wasnt surprised to hear from them. I was lied to, I was told by this representative that if my insurance did not cover the test I would only have an out of pocket responsibility at the most of four hundred dollars. Had she told me my responsibility would be thirty five hundred dollars I would not have agreed to let them test. I have held up my side of the agreement and paid four hundred dollars. When you agree to something verbally on the phone and later you come to realize you have been scammed by a company who is taking advantage of people who are fighting for their lives, it just makes me want to throw up. Its wrong on so many levels. I belong to a cancer website and others are dealing with their insurance (same as mine) not covering the testing from foundation one. Which tells me they knew in advance my insurance wasnt going to cover it.Customer response
