I applied over the summer for admission to the Medical Imaging program. I was accepted as general admission, but not into the Medical Imaging program. At that time, I had a few zoom conversations with various student advisors to understand my options. Ultimately my family and I decided to pursue a different route, and I attended ************************** in the fall of 2021. At this time I have received several bills and delinquent notices for **** stating that I was enrolled in the school. This is simply not true. I have never registered nor attended a course at ****, but I continue to struggle to get this situation resolved. I was enrolled full-time at WSU at the beginning of the fall 2021 semester. Most recently, my tax return of 250$ (4/19/22) was taken before I received it and sent directly to **** for failed payment. I have submitted various emails, made various phone calls, and still have had no resolution. This has been incredibly stressful, especially since I am on a limited income and this impacts my ability to continue my education. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. In looking into this situation, we found an appeal by the person which wasn't processed yet. There was a form last semester that was confusing that is no longer used. An advisor had registered this person in error. The **** has been voided with a zero balance and the courses have been deleted. Any credit resulting from the tax intercept process will be refunded to the student The person has been notified.
