      Their buyer protection promise is a scam. I bought shoulder pads from a seller, and he sent me literally rotten/rancid smelling equipment and then refused the return. I can deal with used equipment that needs to be washed, but these were literally unusable. I disputed it and sideline swap didn't allow the return or refund.

      Purchased item based on description but was shipped an item that did not match. My dispute fell on def ears and was forced to open a dispute with CC company. I would not recommend doing business with this company.

      Horrible experience Purchased a pair of hockey gloves for my 7 year old son, he needed size 9 cuz his 8 were getting small. Opened up box and his 9 gloves were literally half the size of his 8 took pics of them side by side which is obviously clear and indisputable evidence but seller got his money and I got ripped off. Never again !

      They are very upfront about what you have to pay in terms of shipping and taxes but their fee is all but hidden. You don't see the fee they charge until after your sale is complete. They also force you to fill out optional sections of your W9. All in all they prey on your used items ensuring that you take even more of a loss for your property. I advise you seek other means of moving your goods. Plenty of other sites offer more upfront transactions.

Please note that when you list an item for sale on SidelineSwap, there's an option right under where you input the price that says "calculate fees". This shows you exactly how much you'll earn based on what you're listing your item for! Moving forward, we recommend that you check that option before listing your item for sale. Regarding the W9, it is beneficial to SidelineSwap to include our address in the W9 form that we advise users to fill out. We also suspect it would lead to some confusion among our users who would think they need to input their own information in that field when SidelineSwap's address is what belongs there. There is no harm done at all to our users by having this information input automatically. Thank you!

      After I gave several warnings to this company about the trolling and illegal activity from SidelineSwap allowed to occur on their website, they deactivated my account! These COWARDS allowed people to insult me verbally through messages. They did nothing to curtail the nonsense! Also, other people would "like" an item of interest, even though they NO ITENTIONS OF BUYING MY ITEMS!!! I have forewarned SidelineSwap several times about this. THEY DID NOTHING ABOUT IT!!! The last straw involves a so-called user named ********* who repeatedly "liked" my items, but never accepted any of my offers, nor presented an offer to me. THAT IS TROLLING!!! I told these clowns at SidelineSwap, block this user from accessing my page. There's no way to block people's accounts from my end. Chris2433 for a 3rd time "liking" my items. 10 in all occurrences. I warned SidelineSwap that if they don't take the user off my page, I will report your company! They replied, 'don't make a threat to our employees". Really!!! A clown decides to troll on my page, yet I'm the problem? When i sent them a final email, that's when they deactivated my account! UNPROFESSIONAL! COWARDLY!Keep in mind, there's no customer service phone number to call and voice a complaint. The only means of communications is through email. they refused to place in a feature for blocking people in case any illegal or disrespect happening on the website. Now I'm not allowed to sell! FINE! I want this company reported and investigated! The reviews of this company explained here speaks for itself! The one thing you don't do with me is insult my intelligence! I had my intelligence insulted, one too many times! Allowing clowns to disrespect people who are merely trying to sell items online, the accountability falls in line with the clowns that run this company!

      They advertise that you can get a refund but you cannot. One of the items I bought was significantly more worn and outdated in relief than the pictures. I immediately sent the refund request for the item was dissatisfied with. The company responded that my dissatisfaction was not entitled to a refund.Buyer be extremely aware!!! Look at the BBB average review!
