Finishing touch did a spectacular job repairing a staircase and landing at my house. Michael is a true craftsman in his work. I hired him this time because of a reputation I had with him doing an install of a hardwood floor in my living room over 20 years ago. It still looks great. Highly recommended.

**** did a fantastic job on our bath remodel his attention to detail is amazing he is very neat and clean he was super easy to work with and he accommodated our crazy work schedule he rates were very reasonable and well worth the money everyone he works with is super friendly **** kept us informed through the whole process and was always running things by us we cant say enough wonderful things about **** and his work the problem we have now is our bath is so beautiful no one wants to use it lol we'll def hire him again in the future if we need anything else done would highly recommend him for any of your remodeling projects

We LOVE our renovation!!! Mike did an impeccable job. He is highly skilled, and his work and attention to detail are superb. To quote my husband, “skill level 10!!!” We highly recommend Mike!!! It is with great satisfaction that we write this review for ************************* from Finishing Touch. **** refinished the hardwood floors throughout our home, redesigned and renovated our kitchen, replaced the railings/newel posts/balusters for our stairway, and replaced the tile floor in our half bath. From start to finish, **** communicated well, explained the process, and answered any questions we had. Through thoughtful planning, **** did his best to minimize disruptions to our familys day to day living and to help us get back onto our floors or back into our kitchen as soon as possible, which was a huge stress reliever for us. Most impressively, even though the project was planned several months before starting, **** was was able to give us specific dates for when each phase would begin and end. The project was completed according to that schedule and was done on time and, just as importantly, on budget. Awesome Floor!

Eleven years ago we purchased our dream lakeside vacation home in West Brookfield, Massachusetts. Built in 1940 and renovated in 1972 and 1984, it had fir porch flooring in the Great Room and Master Bedroom. The floor had been refinished twice and the soft wood was highly dented.

After a long search and many samples. We found a hardwood to replace our flooring. We purchased pre-finished Brazilian Koa also known as Tiger Wood.

Finding an installer in this COVID economy proved to be a challenge, but we always check with the Better Business Bureau. Can't go wrong with BBB. The top rated installer listed an A+ rating over two decades!

We called Finishing Touch Hardwood Floor and Remodeling Company in Charlton, MA and talked with Michael D*******, the owner. Luck would have it, Dan had ONE opening on October 4th, otherwise we would have to wait until April, 2022. Dan came out to our home the following evening, punctual to the minute, surveyed the project, asked a lot of questions and made some great suggestions. His estimate was within our budget and slightly under our expectation.

Monday, October 4th finally came and Michael and his son John arrived before 9 AM as promised and immediately set to work ripping up the old fir flooring. Tuesday morning they started installing our Tigerwood floor. As they opened up the boxes, we were amazed at the beautiful shades and patterns of the wood. As the installation progressed, Michael made a few suggestions that made the end result spectacular. The attention to detail, their respect for our home and furnishings, and their friendly and courteous personalities put us at ease. At the end of each work day they cleaned up professionally so that we could walk in stocking feet anywhere.
