My husband and I had eye exams on Jan 10th 2022. We decided to purchase glasses from the Optometrists office. We were brought to a back room where the lighting was not very good and told here are the ones that we could choose from. They were very limited, so I asked about another section that was under lock and key. The girl went and got the key, and we chose a pair each from that section. We went into the office on Friday Jan 21st and picked up our glasses, they were handed off to us at the reception desk and we were forced to try them on in the reception area with no assistance. There were no mirrors to look to see if we liked them on and how they fit, no assistance to see if we could read out of them nothing. We took the glasses home to do our own assessment because we couldn't really tell in the office it was very dingy with old overhead lighting. We decided we did not like them and wanted to return the glasses. When I called on Monday Jan 24th I spoke to the receptionist (who also fitted us for the glasses and handed them off to us at pick up) to let her know we wanted to bring them back. At that point she told us there were "ABSOLUTELY" no returns, that we could not return the glasses. I was told the office manager would be in on Tuesday Jan 25th I went to the office to speak to Angela in person and she was out, and I could not return them. They now have our glasses and our money. I had to wait for the office manager to return my call today to see what could be done. She also informed me that they have a no "cancelation" policy, I said this is not canceling the order we don't like the glasses, we want to return them. She (Angela) informed me that yeah we have a no "return" policy. I told her we never saw, and no one ever told us or pointed out to us that there was a "no return policy". Angela stated it is on the wall in the backroom where the eyeglasses are kept. I want to be refunded the $533.25 that we spent to purchase glasses we cannot wear or use.Initial Complaint

I went for an eye appointment at Dr. ******************* ordered two pairs of glasses, but they only gave me one pair. December 8, 2021: 10:56 AM - 11:50 AM. At this time I had arrived at the address and had my eye exam. Furthermore, I purchased two pairs of glasses. First, I chose a thin frame plastic lens pair with metal inside of the frames (ST-152 43-20-H0 ************* Black (single vision)). Following that, I told her that I also needed a second pair of glasses that was all plastic and contains no metal, because I was an MRI student and needed this pair for an upcoming clinical (Design ***** **** 53-15-135 Black). Therefore, I purchased each of the glasses for $99.00 or a total of $198.00. She gave me the receipt for the purchase (which I still have). December 22, 2021: At 1:38 PM I received a voice message to pick up the glasses.December 23, 2021: 10:54 AM - 11:04 AM - I walked to office only to find out that there was only one pair of glasses (all plastic pair). The woman with the tattoo gave me the one pair. I asked where the second pair was? She seemed confused about the whole ordeal. Finally, she told me call back at a later date to see if the second pair came in.December 31, 2021: 3:32 PM - 3:34 PM - I called the office but they were closed.January 3, 2022: 10:05 AM - 10:22 AM. Called the office. Woman told me they had only one slip and needed to search for any other ones. She put me on hold, but I had to go to work, so I hanged up.January 4, 2022: 11:23 AM - 11:30 AM. I spoke to ******** on the phone. She asked me what number was on the glasses' frame, but I had left them at home. She said they would expedite the shipment for both glasses, though I only needed the one missing.January 6, 2022: 11:12 AM - 11:35 AM. Spoke to ***************** and ******. Both said they had on record me picking up both glasses on December 23rd, but I told them I only received one pair. Unfortunately, they refused to listen to me. Have not received a phone call from them since.Business response

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.
I went to the eye doctor back in January and the manager ****** told me that she was going to order the glasses that I had paid $99.00 for. Now, it's been more than two weeks and they still have not called me about the eyeglasses coming in for me to pick up.
Therefore, is there any way you could reopen this case, because the manager has not honored me receiving my pair of eyeglasses as she told me in January 2022?
