I had work done on my car and the invoices for the parts where not attached to paperwork. I found the same parts with part numbers for a kit for a lower control arm. They charged me for the individual parts in the kit. I asked for the invoices for the parts in question I was told they didn't have to give them to me. I also was charged for work that I didn't ask them to do. My steering wheel is not in the middle while I drive and was charged for that. I purchased those parts and I want all the invoices for the part I PURCHASED AS PART OF THE REPAIRS.

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2022/04/21) */ Hi *****, We are sorry this has been a difficult process. As a result of your crash, we diagnosed and installed parts to address the Front End damage the car incurred. This job was estimated and approved by you over the phone before the installation occurred, and once the job was approved, the parts were purchased. Unlike some consumers, we do not purchase and install kits. Our parts and labor are covered by manufacturer warranties if there is a defect with the part. These warranties are in place to protect the consumer, and unfortunately, the warranties do not extend to kits purchased online or parts supplied by a customer. We will share the invoices in a push for transparency, but we have blacked out the prices. We apply a markup to the parts we purchase and install on customer cars like other repair shops. As a reminder, the following parts were installed on your car: Lower Ball Joint: 101-5320 Outer Tie Rod: ES3713 Sway Bar: K80230 Lower Control Arm: RK640361 I would like to confirm that you were not charged for steering wheel diagnosis or repair. I have re-attached your invoice as proof. Due to your crash, the subframe needs to be looked at by a body shop. The off-center steering wheel is possibly due to damage to the subframe. While you said one shop told you otherwise over email, we disagree and would be happy to supply recommendations to a body shop we trust. For reference, we do not do that type of work at our shop.
