On 6/20/22 Alliance quoted me $5302 to remove old gutters, Install new 5 gutters & down spouts on entire garage and install gutter protection on all gutters. I paid a $530 deposit for this work estimate.Alliance performed the work on 7/6/22 and I paid $4722 on completion. Alliance told me to call if there were any issues or leaks & would immediately fix it.I was traveling on 7/12/22 & my daughter sent a video showing 1-2+ inches of rain water lake on patio flooding out of downspout at the ground pipe drainage.My daughter said the gutter was sloping from both ends towards the middle. She also said it looked like it had been installed by drunks & made the house look terrible. She saw gaps between the gutter & fascia (1/2 in). She inspected the whole gutter system & saw many leaks from drip streams falling between gutter & fascia to leaks due to short gutter length & incorrect junctions & the rear downspout collecting too much water volume (improper & multiple slope pitches).She contacted Alliance owner who requested proofvideo & resulted in him coming to inspect. He then scheduled his crew to return & fix the issues. When they returned my daughter tried to explain the issues but there was a language barrier. The crew replaced the whole rear gutter and replaced the short lengths/corners. ******* said if issues werent fixed theyd return & fix again.It hasnt rained since & finally 9/6/22 My daughter sent video showing systemic leaks behind all gutters.In response Alliance owner said The whole roof & drip edge needed to be replaced for $25,000 & was abusive to me in texts when my daughter said that surely shouldve been identified before installation.He responded Our contract is 100% complete when she said There was nothing wrong with the roof before, there were no leaks prior to their work, any damage to the drip edge was due to improper installation and that it was his legal obligation to fix the faulty installation.Business response

Our company provide service for this customer . We removed old gutters and installed new gutters and gutter protection.By customer request we did gutters slope to drainage system, however after first rain it showed that their drainage system is not working customer requested to redo slope from gutters away from drainage system since it is not working. We also notice that drip age on roof is flat with fascia and some water are dripping behind. Since drip age is part of the roof system we cant do anything with it . In order to replace drip age all roof need to be redone. We gave customer approximately cost for new roof . Customer told that they are not interested .
She also said she will sue our company.
Since our company lost trust in customer and after multiple times trying to help this customer we told customer they can do what ever they want. But company will not have any company workers on property when customer is looking to sue company. We complete contract 100%.

I am rejecting this response because: Alliance fixed one side of the house after their work on back flooded our patio but did not finish fixing leaks after heavy rain which the said they would do by caulking all leaking gutters in front. First they were friendly and willing then they refused saying I need a new roof for their gutters to work. Old gutters never leaked from roof but needed better down spouts and gutter leaf covers. That was why I hired them to replace gutters for upgraded cover per their recommendation. Alliance put gutters but the leak in front of the house defeats the purpose. They fixed that in a very small section. They said to send them photos of leaks and they would fix rest of leaks. Last time we talked I was in the hospital and they called to say they will come to fix at a price tag of $26,000. They should have know they could not do the work and inform me before. I am just asking they come and fix it or pay me back for half of price I paid to hire another company.

Our company has been providing construction service in MA and CT for the last 15 years and we do our best to help our customers.
As you know your old gutters didn't work properly, because after we installed our gutter system with gutter protection and connected to your drainage system by your request, we received a video from you showing that your drainage system doesn't work at all.
By your request we had to come back and remove and reinstall our system to change the slope on gutters and redirect water away from your drainage system.
All the photos that you sent to us show that you have 2 problems at your house: first is drip age and fascia ( in order to fix it the roof will need to be re-done), second you need to do a new drainage system .
As a person who has more than 24 years of experience in construction service and has Civil Engineering and Degree In Science, Architecture And Building Technology and being recognized as Hoisting Engineer in MA I use my experience and my education to help our customer in everyday needs.
Our gutter system works 100%, but you will still need to do your roof system and your drainage system in order to take water away from the house properly.
Our company is sending you a check with 50% back from your original contract by your request.
