On December 16, 2022, I had a hair appointment at Keldara Salon and Spa to get my extensions done. On their website, they advertised that they were certified in ***** extensions. I called the salon beforehand to double-check this, and I was assured that they do in fact do ***** extensions. When I arrived for my appointment, I clarified with the stylist that they do ***** extensions and have the ***** tape, because it's a special tape (the extensions can be ruined if using another tape). The stylist assured me that they do have ***** tape. As my appointment was finishing up, I looked up and saw that the tape she was putting on my extensions was not ***** tape and did not cover the length of my extensions. I asked about it, and she told me she was using a different tape because they actually did not have ***** tape anymore. So, 1) She lied to me when I sat down and 2) Never received my permission to tape my extensions with other tape that would ruin them. I was extremely upset, so I asked to speak to a manager afterwards. After arguing with a manager for 45 minutes, she finally took $90 off of my bill. However, I still paid $252 for my service. On top of that, my $800+ extensions are now ruined, which the salon should pay me for because of false advertising and lying to me multiple times. I tried filing a credit card dispute but was unable to. I want my money back for this service, I want a replacement of my extensions that are ruined, and I also do not want the salon to continue lying to people for the sake of profit (e.g., remove themselves from the ***** website and remove all ***** advertising from their website).Customer response
