This company keeps trying to contact me for payments about services I received, but I have never received services from this company. Im not affiliated with any address they have on file. *** told them multiple times that they have the wrong person and they keep reaching out to me. I dont know if someone gave them my number to try and scam me or if they just have the wrong number for another person with the same name, but *** never lived or worked at the address theyre trying to associate with me. Its feeling very much like scam, especially after we allegedly resolved the issue and they keep trying to reach out.Business response

Back in 2021 when the account in question was set up as a new customer account, the customer's name and phone number was provided by a ********************* and we were given all the pertinent information that one would need to set up an account, ********************* set up an appointment for service work to be done at the address given during the initial intake phone call, as a standard practice our office/technicians call the customer 1/2 hour a head of their appointment to make sure someone is home, we clearly use the phone numbers provided to us by the customers. We did a service call for ********************* on 5/21/2021 using the information provided by the client. Unclear as to how the confusion on this matter happened? Our office will handle this internally.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #********. As long as I am no longer contacted by this business for services rendered. Again- I have never lived at any address they billed me for. I understand my name is common, but that doesnt make me responsible for whoever used my number. But as long as I dont hear from them again, I consider the matter closed and that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved.

This is an oil business. They have failed to fill my oil three times in one winter, despite my paying all my bills on time, and despite my being on autofill. I have called them multiple times to refill my oil and have spent nights cold because of it. Each time I have called, I have asked them to correct information about the size of my oil tank. Each time, they have told me that their records state that my tank is twice its actual size. Each time I have told them to correct it, only to run out of oil again.They do not provide their advertised service. They need to change their website to make it clear that they do not autofill oil.Customer response

In response to Ms. ******* complaint she has a smaller tank then normal and we failed enter this properly into the computer resulting in her tank running empty. We pride ourselves in trying to be a company our customers can rely on but we did fail Ms. ******* in not filling her tank before it ran empty. We will learn from our mistake and do our best to be a reliable company that our customers can depend on to take care of all there heating,plumbing and A/C needs.Initial Complaint

On 12/10/2021 I hired Hohmann to perform annual service on a heating boiler located at 47 Roslin Street in Dorchester MA. They arrived to perform the service and proceeded to break boiler's pilot light assembly, thus disabling the boiler and leaving my tenant without heat in December. The Hohmann technician then abandoned the job site without contacting/informing myself or the tenant of the error. The tenant then contacted me on 12/13/2021 me to inform me that their heat was not working following the Hohmann service. I contacted Hohmann via phone on 12/13/2021 and requested that they send a technician immediately to repair their damage, however they refused. I was forced to hire another plumbing company to repair the damage caused by Hohmann. The total for this repair work was $801.58 (see attached receipts). I'd like to be reimbursed by Hohmann for this expense.
