      BEWARE of this dealership. Put $2500 deposit on 2024 4RUNNER with a -$2442 DEALER PRICE ADJUSTMENT on August 29, 2024. Expected delivery is September 26, 2024. Dealer removed the -$2442 price adjustment after taking my deposit and tried to charge me full MSRP. This was a dealership incentive and had nothing to do with Toyota Corp increasing interest rates on Sept 4. Also told I could NOT finance through my bank or pay cash for the vehicle. My only option was to finance THROUGH MCGEE Toyota. According to MA Law buyers can finance from the lender of their choice.(MASS.GOV website) My only option was to cancel this transaction and run VERY fast from this dealership. MA Attorney General as well as Toyota Corporation HQ will be sent all correspondence on my transaction. Please read McGEE response to my review. I NEVER said I had to finance WITH McGEE, I said I had to finance THROUGH MCGEE. As of 9/10/24 the dealership still has this 4Runner listed for sale on *** *****. and ********. MSRP is listed at $50,428 and SALE price is listed at $47,856 for a savings of $2572. S/N is ***************** and stock number is *****. Try to buy it for that price and see what happens! Ever heard of BAIT and SWITCH ! Wish I could give them 0 stars but unfortunately that is not an option

      In April 2023 I acquired a 2014 RAV4 Limited from a family member, who originally purchased it from **** Toyota in *********, ** in December 2015. In early 2024 I experienced shuddering at ***** mph and on February 24, I brought the vehicle to McGee Toyota in Dudley, who recommended replacing the torque convertor for ~$2900. Upon investigation, I learned that faulty software in 2013-2015 RAV4s can cause torque converter damage and shuddering. I contacted several mechanics who declined the job but suggested contacting ****'s Transmission in *********, **. **** recommended McGee Toyota update the software first and then he would flush the transmission, which he was confident would resolve the issue without replacing the torque converter. Following ****'s advice, I returned to McGee Toyota on March 2. Despite explaining my intention to resolve the issue by flushing the transmission before replacing the torque converter, McGee Toyota staff insisted on replacing the converter first before updating the software. They asserted that only a Toyota dealership could perform the software update, leaving me with no option but to pay $2900 for the torque converter replacement, despite my repeated requests for just the software update. Their refusal to accommodate my request was unreasonable and misleading and I believe they were attempting to manipulate me into paying for costly repairs, despite my reasonable request to attempt to resolve the issue in an alternative, less-expensive way first. After calling Toyota's consumer line and learning Toyota dealerships are independent, I contacted **** Toyota in *********, **, who agreed to update the software without replacing the torque converter. On March 29, **** performed the update and transmission flush for $725, resolving the issue without the need for expensive repairs. McGee Toyota's handling of the situation disappointed me, while **** Toyota's professionalism and customer focus have earned my continued loyalty.

      If I could give this place -5 stars I would. After agreeing to the final price of my car without dealer installed items being added so as to not lose a deal over them and taking a deposit based on msrp from port they have changed their mind. Now I must take the items they insist on now adding and if that doesn't work for me I must take my refund and no deal.Don't do business with McGee Toyota because they don't keep their word.

      Did business with this Dealership for over 20 years but since they've been bought by McGee Toyota it's been nothing but bad news for us plus, I caught them red handed in charging me for a tire rotation which I proved to them was not performed.I would like to prevent others from being ripped off and would advise others that if they can't actually watch them do the work then they won't know how bad they're being robbed.************************************** & Family.

      Very discriminatory. They had me fill out a credit loan, which I did, pulled my credit, and still continued with our deal. They Asked to do a trade in with me. Approved it. Told me a price I would be paying. We scheduled a visit and upon getting ready to pay they changed the price about +200 month. I told them we had planned on a better price. They asked for a down payment. They originally wanted my van as a down payment. With both it was still $100 more than we had agreed on. So told them it wasn't going to work but we also felt it was wrong to do that. Upon stating this would affect our review of the place they said if you review it " You can do that if you want but then we would have to respond publicly about your credit and financial situation. Not sure if you really want that out there?" that is what they said. So trying to humiliate me and muscle me out and shame me for my credit.

Lending decisions are based on the customer's individual credit worthiness and ability to prove what is stated on the application.       I forgot my coupon at home, because I didn't realize I needed it. They wouldn't make any adjustments, which I felt wasn't right, since I already paid the full price. So it cost me a 1/2 days pay when it shouldn't have been so much. Unhappy customer is truly the way to go
