My 6 year old attended team gymnastics 2 days a week 3:45-5:45. We were not advised during registration that this time slot will be changed at the discretion of the facility and coaches for school vacations, holidays, and summer vacations. Sometimes as early as 9am on the weekdays.I spoke with the office manager to discuss alternatives since our work schedule cannot always accommodate weekday morning sessions and my child had already missed 2 classes this past month due to the time change. The manager had every excuse. Youre the one that wants her in the teams, other classes offer make up optionswe adjust the time to benefit the girlsits to hot here with no AC in the summerother familys make it work, weve never had an issue theres no alternative and no one else to speak to My child continued to go to teams from 3:45-5:45 for the next 2 weeks. Then the owner calls me at home. A complaint was filed with the BBB looking for a resolution. The owner stated all the things the manager told me were true and since there is no alternative that can be offered for the days she is unable to attend, that my 6 year old needs to find a new gymnastics facility. We werent asked whether we still wanted to attend knowing there was no resolution possible. We simply inquired so our daughter could experience all that we were paying for. We had been attending classes since I spoke to the manager without issue. Was it retaliation for the complaint filed with the BBB? This facility does not align with their posted core values. They claim the classes are pushed up to benefit the child its more likely the $$ they get from hosting school vacation camps and summer camp. How can summer camp run until 2:30 without AC but, gymnastics class has to change their schedule because of the heat? How does it benefit the child if the child cannot attend and there is no alternative! Their own handbook even states time change for *additional* classes, not scheduled class changes.

Thanks for your review, we always strive to improve and we instill that in all of our athletes. We understand being new to a team program can be overwhelming as there are a lot of things to learn and review, which are all covered in our team meeting before the season which happens in August every year and most of that information is in our 11-page team handbook. We have an online portal with all this information which you refused to download and look at, but you did have the printed handbook. Our program isnt a fit for everyone, but we dont feel like you gave a full attempt at reviewing all the information before signing her up for a year-round commitment. We went above and beyond and refunded the entire month of January tuition even though your daughter attended most practices.
