Was given a price of $506 out the door on a semi steer tire by *** over the phone. When the charge hit my credit card, it was for $616. Shop will not refund the difference and states that *** would never give a quote over the phone even though he did. They also told my driver that a hubcap was required for DOT regulation on the from steer tire to try to make a sale which is not true. I would like the $110 credited back to my account.Customer response

Customer called the night before asking for road service. He was given a BALLPARK figure of around $500 for coming out in the middle of the night, including labor, mileage, and a USED tire, etc. He was told we could save him money if he brought his vehicle into the shop the next day instead of paying for a night call. The next day his driver brought in the vehicle and asked for a BRAND NEW, NAME BRAND Yokohama tire. They were given the price and they agreed to the price. The driver drove away with the new Yokohama tire. Also, we do not sell hubcaps.Initial Complaint

On July 25th 2022 I went to change the front right tire of my car.Today the whote tire came off while I was driving.Customer response

***** did come to our ******* shop on July 25, 2022. He purchased a used tire 235-65-R17. He was informed that this used tire is not under warranty.
The tire was mounted on a supplied rim from ***** and we did not install the used tire on the vehicle.
