  I have a warranty service for my heating system through *********************. My heating stopped working more than two months ago. ********************* has contracts with several other companies. They sent in someone from platinum home services. The technician was very unprofessional to begin with. He ended up changing a part which was not defective. The heating issue was never taken care of. He then asked us to pay him directly and told us that he wont change the part unless hes paid first Aldo our contract is with ********************* company. I had to give him a check so that our heating could be fixed since it was an emergency as it happened during the winter months. I then spoke with the warranty company ********************* who advised me not to pay directly to that company and advised me to cancel the check which I did. Heating issue was never resolved until now. The platinum home service company and technician started to call my wifes cell number leaving threatening messages.

  We went out to this customer on 1/20/2022 for a heating issue for their attic heating system. The condensate drain was frozen, upon observation he noticed the heat tape they had to help keep this line from freezing was not working. The customer stated to replace it, we made the customer aware that it wasn't covered and yes in order to proceed with the repair we would need a check. We did the replacement of the heat tape and not once heard from the customer until we received a STOP PAYMENT check. The tech called him he went on and on that he paid for something he wasnt supposed to. I called the customer and left a voicemail stating that if the check is not paid that we would be turning it over to the police to please call the office to resolve this issue. The gentlemen did call back and was using profanity telling us to get the money from his service contract. Being that the service he needed was not covered we are still turning this over to the police and will resolve the issue this way.
