I received three invoices sent through the **** for service on November 14, 2023, December 14, 2023, and December 23, 2023. I did not request or authorize this work to be done at my residence. I wrote to the company to inform them of this and explained that they would want to reach out to my brother ***********************. They informed me that as the home owner I am responsible for the invoices totaling $476.91. I am a federal government employee and I have been in a training program since September in the ************** area so I have no way of knowing what work was requested or what work was performed as I was not at the residence during this time. They should bill the person who requested the work and they should have requested payment at the time of service. Additionally, the charges seem exorbitantly high to ultimately suggest that the boiler simply needed servicing and cleaning and that was apparently not done. I would not have engaged this company three times within a six week period if they were not able to fix whatever issue it was they were trying to fix. These charges seem fraudulent. If my brother did authorize this work, then that is between him and the company.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.
The business has acknowledged that they did not receive my permission to enter my home and conduct this work. They reportedly entered the home in November and never collected payment. This seems very strange. They have tried to charge me for two other visits to the house. I seriously question the business practice of conducting work without the homeowner's consent or permission for multiple months without asking for payment upfront. I was unaware of the work that they reportedly conducted and had in the interim hired *********** to fix the clog. I paid Roto Rooter to do the work. It is unclear what work they completed if the drain was still clogged and needed repair. I did not authorize work and I have made the repairs they have cited so therefore I am unclear what work they are claiming to have performed.
Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.
