Wendy's advertises online, and with posters actually in the window of the restaurant, specific items when purchased would cost two for six dollars. There are no further qualifiers noted anywhere besides buying two of the products and paying six dollars for them. We purchased four of the qualified items. Upon arrival at home, we found that we were charged at total of $23.86 instead of $12.00 as per the advertised price. Three days later I returned to the restaurant with the receipt requesting that I be refunded the difference between the advertised price and the price I was charged. I was told that in less we REQUESTED the advertised price at the time of the order we would not get the advertised price, nor would we get any type of refund. As earlier stated nowhere is a customer informed, they must request discounted price to get it. I strongly feel that it is wrong for a business to advertise a price, then not tell the customer they have to request the price, charge the regular price, and then not refund the difference when the deceptive practice is found by the customer. The order was also missing items, and had items improperly made in addition to the deceptive advertising.
