      Hello my name is *********************** last summer in 2022 I went to Atlantis dental discussing tooth pain they did some looking to find out I do indeed need my wisdom teeth out which I already knew prior from other dentist, I felt manipulated by these dentist and something felt very wrong afterwards. My experience was they ganged up on me telling me to apply for the credit card alpheon to go through with a wisdom teeth removal i had their staff surround me telling me to do it I was extremely anxious and suffer from anxiety and ptsd the doctor who was going to preform the surgery kept flirting with me telling me how beautiful I am trying to persuade me into doing the credit card I caved and signed up with it with *** who works there and takes care of the finances I was approved for the credit card I signed paper work and as I left I spoke to my parents and family and they told me absolutely not to do that and I realized what a mistake I made so I called back within their 73 hour cancellation notice so I could avoid a fee I called a week before the surgery they insisted I paid a cancellation fee which I would still do but didnt realize they pre charged the credit card ****+ dollars for the surgery I did not receive The credit is attached to my name and is affecting my living Ive called them countless times telling to cancel and please get rid of the credit charge and they wouldnt they wouldnt respond to my calls and would ignore me days on end so now Im owing ****+ with interest Im at a loss I cannot afford a bill and shouldnt since I didnt get the surgery which I can provide and they will only refund ********************************************** I am struggling and need help I need to get a new car and I cannot get a loan because of this office they manipulated gaslight and took advantage of me.

      I went in due to extreme pain from a toothache,i paid for an xray exam and already they askin me to pay for full mouth exam which i declined,after the exam they said my tooth had a**** and all that.....then they said i have two or more holes i need an exam i said i dont have money can i get this immediate painful one treated and i can make another appointment the lady said if i dont am goin to lose all my teeth. I have no papers so i called my wife to see what to do and the office manager said he would talk to her about a loan,they spoke she thought he was tryin to help me get aloan to pay for my wisdom tooth extraction i had come in for and agreed.They did the whole mouth and then showed me videos of teeth fallin out sayin thats whats goin to happen to my teeth if i dont do deep dental cleaning,4 wisdom teeth extraction and fillings immediately. I said i didnt have the money can they fix my tooth and they didnt unless i was doin 2 out of the 3 procedures suggested,this was all on 08/23/2022. I emailed on 08/24/2022 and said we discussed with my wife and can't afford the loan so won't be doing the appointment and they are tellin me i have to still pay the 2600$ for a procedure i have not done and still didnt help me with my decayin tooth that i can in for in the first place. I have no job i am not allowed to work yet i can't pay for this loan or the monthly payments! I need help because while i was in excruating terrible pain and needed help.....the staff at Atlantis Dental clinic took advantage of my vulnerable state with less to no explanation into gettin a loan even when i kept sayin i need time,they said its no refund after i show up for the appointment. I cancelled 6days before my appointment and they are tryin to charge me to pay 2600$ that i can't afford to pay and my wife can't afford for services i cancelled and didn't ask for. Please help me,am still in pain from my wisdom tooth and now am stuck! I am losing my mind.

      I am sorry to hear that you feel so bad about seeing us for your dental needs. 

      We spend hours with our patients describing each process to them as our doctors really only want to help you stay healthy long term. I know that sometimes some conditions can be very pricey to treat but that does not mean you should not treat them as dental health is related to overall health. We are very passionate about what we do and we lay out all options for each patient we see and then it is up to them. You are an adult and a very educated person. I really do not feel we pressured you into doing anything. If you did not like your initial consultation with us I would not have taken it personally if you had requeted your records and gone some place else. I always feel that there needs to be a special understanding between a patient and their doctor and I am sorry you did not feel that way.

      We had an appointment set up for Friday August 26th that you decided to not show up for. We were ready with the paperwork that day to get you to cancel your financing and get your moeny back. I feel that your request and complaint against us is unreasonable and no matter how we are trying to help you resolve this you are making it more difficult. I believe we have another appointment set up for this week. Please do not miss it again and blame us for not resloving the problem in time. We are a professional dental office and we take all transactions very seriouly. It is important that the right process be followed for any transaction. For refunds this is our process as there is papwerwork that needs to be singed and documented and you need to do that in person.

      First off,i called the office to let you know am going to be late because i was delayed,i have respect for people's time thats why when i was told *** has to pick up his car at 4pm and won't be able to see me if am 30mins late i kindly requested to reachedule because resolving this is very important to me. I have not been unreasonable or difficult in any way,no one has reached out to me with cancellin the financing before that reply i jus read today.I see they(Atlantis Dental) are willing to cancel the financing which means i won't be paying the 2600$ for proceduresi did not use is very okay with me. I want to resolve it and be done with this once and for all. And i have every intention to be at that meeting to finalise all this and part ways amicably.Thank you.

      I receive text messages calls mail consistently from this business and when I block a number they call from another number I have asked them to take me off their list and they still haven’t and this is been going on for a while it’s annoying and I don’t know what else to do they shouldn’t be harassing people for business

      I was a client until about March when I started seeing a different dental office. From the start this office was intentionally misleading: Told me they were in network with my insurance company then after my appointment told me that was not the case and then proceeded to talk me out of looking for a new dentist by telling me that my insurance company does not work with ANY dental offices to offer discounted rates, didn't I know that? This is not true, I am currently in a dental office that has in network rates. While I was a patient, I had signed up for a promotion they had giving them permission to contact me for promotions. I had asked them to remove me from their system when I left their practice. I have since continued to receive phone calls AND text messages from them even though I have told them every time to remove me. Today they told me that they are not able to stop calling or texting me promotional offers because I owe 80$(No explanation of what wasn't covered)

      As far as the insurance goes yes it is true that we are out of network with most insurances. We accept every insurance plan but as an out of network provider. I apologize for the confusion. We will handle this internally to improve communication between our staff and patients.
