Eagle Mechanical is a FRAUD !!******* is the owner of Eagle Mechanical. He installed Fujitsu Mini Split system at my home in 2020. The system worked fine. In Summer of 2022, before completing the 2 years (labor warranty is 2 years) the system stopped working. I contacted *******. He inspected the system and told me this needs more labor intense troubleshooting. This should be free in warranty. ******* charged me $350 for the gas (freon) needed to test the mini-splits. He said he will come over and test the unit later. Since then he has never shown up at my home. I have contacted him numerous times and he never responded back.If I go outside and get this service done, it is easily going to cost me $3000-$4000. Either ******* fix this or pay the money to fix the bad work. Moreover, in his troubleshooting, he has used a dye in the system. Per some ****** search that dye is going to damage the system. Which is going to force me to reinstall the whole unit.Customer response

Contractor was hired to install a new HVAC system in our home, in a new extension built at our home. This included a new furnace for the heat. The furnace was to work on a propane based system. The furnace comes configured for a natural gas system, and requires a conversion in order to work with propane. Contractor was fully aware that it was to work on propane, yet installed the furnace without doing the conversion. When the heating system was initially turned, it started to consume thousands of dollars in propane in just a few weeks, because the unit was operating as a natural gas unit. The unit eventually caught fire and stopped worked. The unit is destroyed and requires replacement. After reaching contractor, he stated that the furnace configuration was not his responsibility, but the responsibility of the propane supply company, which is not true. The propane company simply ran the gas line, They are not responsible for firing up the unit and ensuring it was installed correctly. Contractor's contact provides a workmanship warranty, but he is no longer returning calls or text messages. Contractor needs to be responsible for the costs to replace the furnace (parts and labor), and for the propane wasted due to the incorrect installation of the furnace. At this point, we do not want the contractor back at the house, nor do I think he would want to make the repairs. We therefore seek reimbursement of costs to fix the issues he caused, as well as cost of wasted propane.Customer response

9/29/2022 Business took my money as a deposit ($3,700) and a while later took more money ($3,700) to drop off equipment and the remainder ($1,850) would be due upon completion of the work. Business took my deposit and payment for equipment and never finished the work and will no longer communicate with me. After reading reviews this is a tactic by this buisness. Some ductwork was done but never completed. The business dropped off some equipment but the boiler size *wasn't even big enough for the size of the house*. I want him to remove his equipment and give me my money back.Initial Complaint

Hi. My name's *****************. I wanted to get a Fujitsu mini split heat pump system. I found Eagle Mechanical Solutions/************************* on the list of Fujitsu elite contractors. I called him. We talked, then he gave me a proposal. I signed a contract to get a Fujitsu mini split heat pump system ordered and installed. I gave him a $4,672 deposit which was 1/3 of the total contract value.Three weeks later, he had not delivered the unit. I called to cancel the contract and get my money back. He said he would get me my money back. He told me two more times over the phone over the coming weeks that I would get my money back. Now he won't respond to my calls and I'm out $4,672.Customer response
